I feel like I've seen that before. I'm not looking for just a raspberry flavor, anyway. It was just a test run.
I did mix up a simple pineapple cheesecake today. Just pineapple, cheesecake, and graham cracker. I mixed it well and let it hot water steep for a few hours. But it still only tastes like pineapple, with a very mild hint of cheesecake aftertaste. That one I'll let sit for about a week before tasting again. But I'm sure it's missing something. Similar recipes I saw called for flavors I just haven't picked up yet

Pineapple is a Dominate Flavor. And a Very Little goes a Long Way.

To make Pineapple Cheesecake, you might have Better Luck make a Cheesecake/Graham Cracker mix 1st, and then Slowly add Very Small amounts of Pineapple until you get to your Desired Taste.

I think this is Something that Many New DIY-ers get hung up with. Trying to Make Single Flavors that taste like what they want it to Taste Like.

Most Flavors in Candy/Foods, like Raspberry, are not made be using a Single Flavoring. But have the Main Flavor, and then Other Flavors that "Bend" it in Different Directions.

This exactly -- there is nothing on earth that tastes like just one flavor -- even a simple fruit; there's the fruit taste, the sweet taste, maybe a tart taste... etc. Most of the flavorings are meant to be used as bldg blocks, not as entire edifices. You combine them to get the flavor you want.
