I understand that's an option as well, my whole point in this is the vendor that supplies this upfront even if it is alongside the more technical information, will be more apt to get sales. This isn't a rant so much as trying to let vendors know where they are lacking. I have been vaping for just over a year now and even with all the reading, research, and questions I still don't know certain features of a LOT of the mods out there. If, after a year, I don't fully understand it I KNOW there are people out there the same way. I am by no means dumb. I understand tech speak in fields I have experience with. I can tell you what speed my CPU runs at, the tech specs on my graphics card, the front side bus speed of my ram, proof and create a legal document to be reviewed by a judge. It's not a matter of intelligence it's a matter of convenience.

Bravo, Sandpit!! Add me to list to the list of those who would like to see marketing terms for both the non-tech savy and for the tech-savvy.

I study like mad, enthralled with all the newest and latest as well, but by the time I get a chance to purchase I've forgotten half of what I learned for that particular model/product. It pains me to have to find the info somewhere else other than at the vendor's website and review ... especially here at ECF where I once again get lost in the new posts and the long saga continues.

On the other hand, I love love love the vendors who put the video tutorials and reviews up on their sites. How sweet is that!! These same sites are the ones who will usually inform us whether or not it is compatible with our 510 or juice feeder or mah ...

haha, I still remember viewing all the eGo tutorials and reviews and felt oh so confident about my purchase and how to use it... until the box arrived. Talk about being overwhelmed... and that was with my eGo! That was a year ago and today I would feel the same way with the Map Tank, or the ec2c1234xyz, or any new to me product.

I, too, agree. I can decipher most of it, after a while....but when I want to buy something, I prefer to know what it looks like, what I need to go with it to make it work, and how much it costs...oh and what styles/colors/options it comes in.

THEN...I'll tend to look on the Tech/Spec pages and start to compare one design against another.

I did that with my TV's. Especially when HD was first hitting the market. Wanted to know what difference getting a 1080p vs a 720p made, and was it worth the difference in price? Same goes for my camera and lenses. What's the difference in a $1500 lens and a $400 lens, and does it matter to ME? I realize that these things DO matter to some, but to many, they really don't. They want a flat screen TV with a nice picture...and to be able to take a nice photo with their camera, for the best price. They really don't care about the specs...and the technical stuff. They just want it to work! :)

Maybe there is a market for a middleman to put it all together. Not saying that I personally would pay more for that but newbies might pay more for less hassle. Imagine a catalog that lists every mod under the sun with complete kits and advice
As well as some kind of exchange policy just in case you bought the wrong one etc. Etc. Etc.
All in one place with every juice supplier listed as well. Walmart for ecigs. Just sayin'.

I think a lot get carried away and forget just how challenging it is to even just track down tips from the 9,990,567,387,456.03 different models that are out. It will take a 909, 501, 801, 747, and mercedes benz tip. Meanwhile the poor guy wanting to buy it jsut wants to know if he can screw in his specific cart or carto and use it. ya know?
