Ok so here is the deal. When I was using various Aspire tanks I had a bad batch of coils where 2 out of 3 from a 5 packs firing pins were different lengths and by that I mean the head of the pins themselves. So what was happening was they were pushing my contact in my battery down and when I switched tanks for different flavors I noticed this as they weren't firing so I had to gently pull that pin up. Didnt take long before the insulator got tore on the iTaste and half of it fell out.

Now after battling with my last Aspire tank and finally throwing it out because of its draining issues because the stupid BVC, I am afraid I got liquid in the battery. When I use my Protank and some others with every few puffs it only lasts about a second before it blinks a series of times due to the regulation module or what have you. So, has anyone taken apart and iTaste without truly screwing it up? If so would anyone mind showing me a how to so I can see if I can clean it up and possibly recommend a replacement insulator? Its still within warranty but if the issue with it cutting out is due to the liquid I am afraid it will just be a waste of time sending it in as they could deny coverage. So if anyone has any insight on a fix I would greatly appreciate it.

I honestly never tightened too much. I actually get on friends and my wife about that. Its a pet peeve of mine because I heard so many friends and all complain about leaking seals and wouldn't you know it took a heck of a twist to get certain parts to in screw. I literally compared the heads of the pins and right there it was in front of me, the one I previously used before the one that wouldn't fire was different.

Thanks for the link though. Didn't see that hiding on me.
