HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!! :)

I am really confused by something - the Vision Clearomizer models.

I have been using the Vision CE4 and Vision 2.0 (which to my understanding is also a CE4 but has a
replaceable head). I have also been seeing at least one seller call the Vison 2.0 a Vision 3.0.
Now, I am seeing one being called a Vision 2.0 "CE5" that looks identical to the Vision 2.0 CE4.

It is also my understanding that the True "Vision" products like the Clearomizers, especially the v2.0,
have a "Laser Etched" "V//" on the smooth metal above the knurled base.
I have one of the copycat Vision 2.0 and it does NOT have the "V//" -- and I have a Blue Color,
Real Vision 2.0 that DOES have the "V//"
I also have a knockoff clearo from a Kit that does not have the "V//".

Question: Did the original Vision (straight center post, no replacement head) have this "V//" mark?

I am seeing these models on various sites and it is confusing me because...

1) From my understanding, the First CE4, has a straight center post with no removable head.
2) The first Vision CE4 was nicknamed "Stardust" and/or "Elegance".
3) The Vision 2.0 has a replaceable head that has a small metal nipple sticking out of it.
4) Some companies are calling this one the "Elegance"
5) The one called a CE5 by some looks identical to and has the same parts as the Vision 2.0 CE4.
6) The one called "Vision 3.0" (or "Vision eGo V3) by some looks identical to and has the same
parts as the Vision 2.0 CE4. This one also comes in 1.8ohm/2.4ohm/and 2.8ohm.

I am also seeing some sites offer the correct heads for the Vision 2.0 that have the nipple in it, while
some others have a head for it that looks like the Vision ViVi Nova head (No Metal Nipple).

As a matter of fact, I ordered replacement heads from one seller for the Vision 2.0 and they sent me
ones that had No Nipple in it and it would NOT fit... it fit the threads - but - The Drip Tip did not meet
the rubber piece and thus, it leaked around the base of the Drip Tip...
When brought to their attention, they said they realized they sent me the wrong heads.

Here are some photos of what I have been seeing:

001_Vis_2.0_CE4.jpg

True Vision 2.0 Clearomizer - Goes by 2 Model types by different sellers:
the CE4 and the CE5. It is also being called the Vision 3.0 by some.
Note the "V//" mark on the bottom.

001c_Vis_3.0.jpg

This one is the same as above except for the colored tips, which I have seen
on some but Black on others.
This one is being called the Vision 3.0
Note: cannot see the telltale symbol "V//" on this one.

002_Vis_CE5.jpg

This one clearly states it is a CE5 in the photo (seen on numerous seller sites)
Note the head at the bottom shows the nipple protrusion.
Note: cannot see the telltale symbol "V//" on this one.

002_Vis_heads.jpg

Left - A Vision 2.0, 2.4ohm Head.
Right - A Vision ViVi Nova head - but - has been seen on numerous seller sites
as the head for the Vision 2.0 and so-called 3.0 (CE4 and so-called CE5).

003_Vis_CE5_head.jpg

This head has a "Short Wick" and is being sold as a replacement for both the Vision
2.0 CE4 and the so-called CE5.
All of the replacement coil heads I have bought for my Vision 2.0 have had long wicks.

Another one I saw recently on Youtube - video posted in May 2012 - was for a CE4+ or CE5+
that has a completely different style head. A 2 Piece head with what looks liek a wire from the
rubber sealer to the base and a wick that goes all the way into the base...

What is the Deal?

Can someone Please clear this up so I am not ordering knockoffs or imitations or some strange
part comes to my door that won't work on what I have.

I am trying to get an idea of what I need to stock on as I am going to try and begin selling on
the side.

Thanks for any help you can offer. :)

HAHAHAHA! What is that dude smoking in his Juices :)
I Love It!

Thanks :)

And I know what he is meaning about the "Knockoffs of the knockoffs"... I have seen that.

Thank so much for the information and great video.

So far, I know I will be buying the Vision 2.0 only if it has the "V//" on it and I will only buy the
heads that are "nippled" and 2.4ohm (because that seems to be the standard for the rating on the
clearomizers.

And I will Only buy true joyetech eGo-C and eGo products and I insist they have the joyetech
name attached somehow (e.g., box, package, etc.) because I have seen some that claim they are
JoyeTech but have this goofy looking circle with a leg (from what I understand, is the Janty symbol),
and if I am correct, the Janty is a knockoff from Chinese bulk distributers... Not sure so don't quote
me on that because I have also read that Janty and JoyeTech were once partnered in the design
of the eGo battery.

Great infromation -- Thanks! :)

I took a look at that list and EcigExpress and Karden Distributing are not on it.
I have not purchased from Karden yet - that is my possible supplier for startup because of
their low First MOQ rate.
I will also be buying from EcigExpress for some things I cannot find elsewhere for reasonable
prices.

I got my Blue Vision that has the "V//" mark from EcigExpress and it is great... works just
like the one the guy in the video is talking about - dry scratchy if I leave it sit upright too
long - but I too have a tendency to move it around alot if I am using it and have been
laying it on its side mostly.

Strange thing - the one I got from another vendor that does not have the telltale "v//"
acts the exact same way...

So, in a sense, I am still confused because he is talking about the v1, v2, and v3 but is
referencing more of the v1 and v3... where is the v2? - LOL

Oh Wow!

So... I think what I will do is... when I make out my orders, I will request proof of Authenticity
of the products (e.g., that it come in an original packaging and/or box or have a "Certificate of
Authenticity" accompanying the items.

I am a small time part time business owner and cannot afford a huge MOQ so I have to find
wholesalers that can offer me $500 or less on startup and no min after that.

Thanks...

And Again... I am still a bit confused...

I went through some sites and contacted, asking for wholesale information and got a reply from one
"Vision" - they sent me a very small wholesale price sheet with only 8 items on it...

My question is...

Which one of these is the REAL Vision site:
visionecigar - Vision High Technology
**OR**
visioncig - Vision Electronic Cigarette, Original Manufacturers

As for the confusion about the Vision Clearomizer - If I am wrong on this, please correct me, but...
I think I discovered that there are only currently 2 types, the Vision "Stardust", called the CE4 in some
cases, which is the one that has the straight post with no replaceable head, and the Vision 2.0 which
is called the V3 in some cases, and has the replaceable head.
Therefore:
Vision CE4 / "Stardust" / "Elegance" / the original or first Vision CE4 Clearomizer
Vision 2.0 is also called "Stardust" and "Elegance", is still a CE4 (not CE5) and is the V3 - upgraded version
of the original.

Am I right? :)

I want to be able to offer my customers the genuine products (Vision, JoyeTech, Smok, etc.) and
when I tell them they are the "Real Deal", they better be :)

I for one, am the type that does not take kindly to someone telling me something is made by so-and-so
when it in fact is not. That is false advertising, bad business ethics, and something I like to personally
call fraud.
I for one do not do these sorts of things in my business and that is one of the reasons so many people
have chosen me to be their ITT Tech and have told others of my work.

Honesty is something that is often hard to come by these days so I want to be one of the ones who
is genuinely honest - that way, I keep my customers and keep them happy :)

I really do need a wholesaler (or 2) who can supply us with start-up items but at the same time, we really
cannot afford over $400 because this is a small area and I have no idea how fast we would be able to move
the items. My partner and I don't want to get stuck with $500, $600, or $1000 in stuff we cannot get rid
of in a reasonable amount of time to allow us to replenish stock.

Just so you all will know that site will attempt to load mallware on your computer My security software pops up every time I go there.

I never have a problem there... no malware detection or popups from any of my AV's or Antimalware
progs. Could be one of the images at the time you go to the site. I run Firefox with the Adblock Plus
add-on and never get popups... Try turning off popups or ads for the site in your browser if it is
capable.

You are not confused, you are being astute. Admirable quality.

My two cents, ditch anything "clearo", be it a Stardust, a CE(anything), even the Vision ViVi Nova.

Haha... I feel like Rudolph in the old "Claymation" movie where he meets the little doe... lol
I'm Astoooooot!

Oh -- Thank you for the compliment :) -- I try.

Personally, I like my Clearos... haven't had any problems with them as of yet and although I haveread
that the heads will only last a short time (depending on use), I have only had to change one head so
far and they are both over a month old and no burnt taste or anything - the coil in one of them still
looks brand new.

I really like the dripping too... it is great for when I want a few stronger puffs of different flavors but
don't want to refill or change out a clearo. I love the way the 306LR hits.
When I first got it, I cleared it out and tested it and they are right about the nasty taste so I cleaned
it and debridged it and it is Astounding!
I am going to get some more of these in case the one I have goes out... I only use it occasionally and
for taste testing so it should last a while.

I was wondering the same thing last night. Both have the same contact info for Max Zheng. The pics on the visionecigar.com site have visionecig.com on them.

This should clear it all up for you
*Snip*

Thanks for the video!! Now that we've cleared that up (I think), is there is list of "Bottom Feeder" clearomizers anywhere (Versions aside for now :D)?

Vivi Nova current version, is that top or bottom feeding? Now that I say that, there isn't a whole lot of confusion with versions and knock-offs with the Viva Nova right? Shops either have new, old, or both and never fakes correct?

I have been in contact with the Vision company directly for wholesale pricing and with questions
about what we are talking about here and I was told that:
Vision Electronic Cigarette, Original Manufacturers
is in fact the Originator and manufacturer of the Vision products and that all Vision products carry the
"V//" logo symbol on them.

I am not sure about a "Bottom Feeder" list but that would be nice. :)

Hi jlew, don't you just love China? I feel like you, and when i found something i liked, i wanted the exact same thing. Wasted alot of time looking at China companies, and there's new ones starting all the time. They copy everything. Vision just made a copy of the Kanger T2.
My first clearomizers that worked, back in July, were made by Visionecigar and didn't have the "V". The "V" is new for Visionecigar, and they did that, according to them, because of all the copies being made. Yes, the Vivi is being copied also and ive seen companies calling their product by the same name as the original.

Yeah... gotta love China (sarcasm :) ). Nothing like Free Enterprise to get you going in the morning!
I haven't had any problems with my clearo's either and have had 2 that were not true Vision made and
they work just as good as the one with the "V//" on it.
My thing is, if I am going to sell, when I tell people "This is authentic (JoyeTech, Vision, Smok, etc.),
then I want it to be or else, if it isn't genuine, I will tell them... but with all the mishaps that can happen
with sub-par anything, I want to reduce that as much as possible.

I hate to hear people say don't use this or that. Try them all and find what works for you not someone else.

Agreed - I make recommendations but never try to tell anyone not to use something.

Like my philosophy on Religion (although I may not be an avid follower of any particular sect -
"If it is something a person can believe in that gives them Hope for tomorrow and makes them feel good...
That is always a good thing!" :)

One thing else is... the Vision "V//" does seem a bit more professional than a plain blank item...
I like to see model and part mumbers, name brands and mfg's names or logos on what I buy -- That way
I know it is authentic and has a way to be tracked back should something go wrong.
It is like the "V//"ision batteries they have... although they have the name and all, they still look like
"JoyeTech" (except for maybe a minor difference) so since JoyeTech came out with the eGo-C,
I will not buy one that came from another company with the same type of features simply because:
Like a Generic Food Product - it may look like it, smell like it, and be similarly packaged -- Just wait til
you taste it! ... lol

Like the old saying "Look for... the Union Label" -- I look for the mfg name or logo... then I can be a little
rest assured it might out-perform or out-last others of the like.
