Rayon wicks rock,i was a die hard cotton man till now.Change dont come easy with me.

Well,i progressed from ego style,then to mesh .on to SS cable,tried cotton and loved it,then rayon,at first i wasnt sure,but fro some strange reason i gave it a go tonite and it freakn is smooth and better nic hit,at least i think,some say the nic hit is better than cotton.Any who...its a cleaner nicer taste but less vapour for me.Me thinks rayon and cloud chasing dont mix.
You may not have the density at that perfect spot just yet then.I have been using it for a while,and i can get massive clouds with it.I'm not a cloud chaser either,just an added benefit of the rayon.
Interesting this synthetic cotton i must say,it just maybe the the cats behind.

I like the rayon better than the typical organic cotton, but I've been loving the "Japanese cotton" a bit more. Though it doesn't seem to last quite as long as rayon, I like the flavor a bit better.
Something's amiss with your wick then because I have a .34 build on my Plume and it is producing rather large volumes of vapor.
Rayon is a bit different than cotton in that the juice doesn't seem to saturate the fibers in rayon like it does with cotton. The juice just flows in the nooks and crannies up to the coil. My build works so well that when I flood the well and take a hard draw off of it, I get this sort of "wet" vape. The flavor is very intense and oh so delicious.

passage of liquid along it as the adhesion to the filament walls is stronger than the cohesive forces between the liquid molecules.
Rayon has a high absorbency level coupled with an efficient release level; it suspends liquid very well but does not cling to it excessively.......

uhmm.. i wasnt a big fan untill i saw this thread and gave it another chance... i filled a couple of attys with rayon untill the coils squeeked and all seems good, i still kinda taste something with the rayon but it doesnt seem as bad as before but the cloudage make up for that 
UPDATE;
Im back to cotton again,i find cotton works better.I guess taste really is subjective even when it comes to wicking materials.
