After having a Provari in my cart for like 48 hours (ok not really, but getting that far 3 times and not pulling the trigger) I finally did it. I just have to keep telling myself that it'll pay for itself in the long run. Still have my little 808 for "on-the-go" vaping but after my fixed 5V mod (which is actually putting out 5.2V) seemed to be lacking something, not to mention being fixed V, I decided to just do it... Like when I bought my car or my house, I'm going "Holy crap... did I really just spend that much $$?"

So I think I'm setup...for now. Protank in hand and come oooonnnn Provari!

yeah its good device you'll be happy. been using mine strong for 1 1/2 month with no problems. I was in the same boat as you before i bought mine. "This is a lot of money for a device" but when my both of my ego's went down in less than a months use, i said screw it i'm going for quality. Plus if you ever decide that you want to sell it you'll basically get back what you paid for it.

Thanks! I could tell (even though at 5.2V its unusable) that the protank was what I needed so I knew I was gonna need a decent piece to drive it. Besides, trying to find cartomizers (DC or SC) that works well with ny current mod was difficult. Not to mention not all juices vape the same thus a VV was inevitable

I blame my girlfriend. She said i needed a new hobby :D

Roughly 12 hours into using the Provari and I can tell you that it makes a HUGE difference. The ability to change the voltage in .1V increments makes all the difference in the world. I'm sure other VV/VW devices are nice as well and thus far, I haven't regretted it for a second! Some things vape fine on my 5(.2)V device but EVERYTHING vapes great when you have the ability to fine tune the power output to your particular taste.

Been a year and a half with my provari, still flawless.
Your gonna be one happy camper with the protank on top.
For me the voltage set at 3.5 or so works great, but for those times
I'm feeling more reckless 4.5v is nice to.

Congrats on pulling the trigger, you'll have no regrets there.
(as long as your rent gets paid and there is still food on the table)

Cheers!
