Bad timing, indeed......for those who've decided to wait until now to stock up, better hurry, it looks like at least Swedish Match will be raising prices across the board effective June 7th. That would be all General, Ettan, Goteborgs, Probe, Lab, Tre Ankare, Roda Lacket, Kronan, Catch, Grov, and Nick And Johnny.

Also, Skruf is probably going to slight smaller portion sizes and may raise prices as well. It looks like a price hike across the snus board is in the works, with the exception being V2, who foresees price stability, hopefully, throughout 2010.

So it's probably best for those of us with a dragging tail to finalize our final Pact orders in the next few days. Dang.....the end is near .

Hate to hear that TV, but I suppose it's inevitable. I'm starting to put together my last pre-PACT order and hold it under 50 cans. That'll bring me up to around 120 cans in the freezer. Not as much as some of you crazy hoarders, I know, but with my new found love of snuff and my e-juice stockpile, it should get me well into year two of life after PACT. By that point most of the dust should have settled and I can evaluate the brave new world based on facts rather than from fear of what my government is trying to do to me. Unless, of course, next year is full of bad news too. Sigh.

I think I might be able to get by with buckets of SnusX. That is definitely the cheapest way to go! I've been using SnusX exclusively for almost a month -- without a problem.

Laguna, I know you asked TB but I can tell you that it is basically a bucket of snus with no flavoring. You can order it plain, with flavoring included that you add yourself, or you can buy the different flavorings individually. Here's a link to the plain bucket by itself. They also carry the others.

Edit to add: I also see where V2 will be coming out with a los version sometime it the near future.

In light of the continuing unknown, I hit the order button on my last pre-PACT snus tonight, and it looks something like this:

40 - General Mint, White Portion
2 - General Mint, White Portion (SAMPLE)
5 - General Wintergreen, White Portion
1 - Tre Ankare, White Portion
1 - Skruf Stark White, Strong Portion
1 - Skruf Cranberry, Portion

Total shipping = $ 10.10

And my favorite part:
Total VAT = $ 0.00
Total Tax = $ 0.00

That will get me to 140 cans in the freezer and I typically empty a can in anywhere between 3-5 days, so that's something like a 600 day supply on hand. Plus e-juice. Plus snuff. I'm pretty happy with where the nico-stockpile is at the moment, but I'm not totally ruling out a last minute order if I really catch a taste for something... Although it might be time to start seriously looking at the FoodSaver.
