Now nearly off analogs, wasn't even trying.

Picked up an eGo clone (z-vape.com branded) on a whim when the girl was looking to cut down on cigs herself. Well I ended up getting into it and now found some e-liquid I dig (Ben Johnson's Awesome Sauce), down from about 18 non-filtered American Spirits to two daily. Still looking for a good non-fruity juice for her to get into, so far got Uncle Junk John Wayne, and Flavorz Cup of Joe, with limited success.

I feel a little spoiled as the z-vape.com comes with CE8 wick-less clearomizers. I broke the first one and had to get a CE4 locally and quickly realized why even the idea of a wick bugs me.

I read some complaints about the CE8's being "metallic", but I'll join that thread when I get past my new member post count, got a couple fresh CE4 and CE8 and wouldn't mind doing a head-to-head.

Though, they're from different OEMs and just like anything else, the quality of one CE8 may vary widely to the next. Luckily the z-vape.com ones I've used so far seem just fine compared to the CE4 I got my hands on.

Happy to be part of the club.

Yeah, when I first started vaping, I wasn't doing so to quit analogs, but it just ends up that way when you realize its beats the old way in every aspect from cost, 2nd hand effects on others, smell, health, etc.

Nice to not have that ashtray smell anymore on your clothes, hair, in your car, house... ;)
This ain't your grandpappy's cigarette no more ;)

Analogs are so 90's, gotta go digital!!! :D

Yessir.

Now it's a mission to get the girl into some juice she can enjoy.

Even the good juice seems to not hit right for her, but I think she's doing a chest hit instead of a mouth draw, just takes getting used to.

Quality juice seems to make all the difference when you're getting started.

I never meant to quit, but it worked out that way. Somehow, giving myself permission to smoke, while vaping, allowed me to just vape, and though I took a puff a month after exclusive vaping, it was disgusting, and I've never looked back.

A key to good juice is to order sampler packs. MyFreedomSmokes has some good ones, and there are many out there. The other thing is a trip to the local juice bar, can introduce you to flavors you might not otherwise try, and often find some real gems along the Journey. I totally agree that some good juice, early, can make all the difference in the world. Good luck, welcome to the Forum, Power up and Vape On!

I was one of those people that thought it wouldn't hurt to try vaping but chances were slim I'd stop a 40 year habit. Then something strange happened, without thinking about it I realized I hadn't smoked for 24 hours. It has now been 3 months with no smokes. Of course I have spent hundreds on vape toys and juice but I feel better, smell better and I'm still money a head.

Funny to hear so many people with the same experience.

Good call!

Definitely going to give that a shot, thanks!

I would never trust myself to even take a drag on an analog...quit because of illness not voluntarily..so I am afraid of analogs since I quit for an entire month after a similar illness but started smoking again...it is either ecigs or death for me.
Glad to hear it's a solution for ya, I'm only in my thirties but I started smoking analogs back in my early twenties, hard to believe it's been more than a decade.

It's also good to have a place to share "war stories".

Pretty much the same experience here, just not three months in yet, looking forward to it though.

Happy with your equipment, or just haven't seen anything that suits your fancy?
