sorry for all the questions..

now that i actually went out for my first ecig session i have some questions
1) i bought a esmokers canada branded 510-t is that different from the joyetech one? is it a knock off? mine lights up RED.
- Esmoker 510-T E Cigarette Deluxe Starter Kit
2) there's not as much vapor as i expected and see from the videos.. how do i increase that?
3) i taste slight metal in my mouth..why is that?
4) the cut off for the 510 is not 8 seconds like it says on other posts..its more like 3-4 seconds. and the led blinks twice after i reach that cut off
5) can i go buy a joyetech 510-XL battery and put it on the atty i have?

thanks in advance!

It's what we call a Pen style PV. I believe the battery is 180 mah.

The cartridge may be dry. Remove from battery and "thermometer shake" the cartridge" toward the battery connection side. Try dripping a few more drops in. Were the cartridges/ cartos blank/ empty when you got them or prefilled?

Is it fully charged? Usually only partially charged when delivered.

It says it's a 510 threaded and so should fit.

thank you Vapoor eyes er (whoo i get it ; > )

it's a pre-filled cartridge so i don't have that flavor in a bottle.

maybe i'll drip the other one i got onto it..

yes it's fully charged .. the light turned green and i left it on there for about another hour to make sure

LOLLL Vapoor aint it the truth  Sometimes the cartridges will dry out. The cartomizer filler should look "slushie"- put a round toothpick GENTLY in the air hole tube and drip a few drops until it looks slushie. After it's filled remove toothpick and blow gently into kleenex. I agree it's very expensive and if possible return for refund. We can find you the same for much cheaper or even better.

The amount of vapor you will get depends on several factors.
The first whether or not the battery is fully charged. Did you fully charge the battery before using it.?

Next is whether on not the juice is getting to the coil. These are cheap cartomizers and some will work better than others. How long have you been vaping on that cartomizer? Could it be running out of juice?

The amount of power the coil can use is another factor. Like a light bulb the coil has resistance and the amount of resistance determines how much juice is vaporized. The higher the resistance the more energy or power from the battery is needed to heat the coil to a temperature that will vaporize the liquid. A higher resistance such as 3.0 ohms will produce less vapor than lower resistance such as 2.0 ohms at the same voltage from the same battery. Some vendors will use a higher ohm cartomizer because the battery will last longer even though it gives less vapor.

Another factor is the ratio of glycerin (VG) to propylene glycol (PG). VG produces more vapor and a bit less hit. PG is thinner than VG and wicks a bit better.

To answer your question you can get better cartomizers with lower ohms to increase the vapor. However with that battery you shouldn't go below 2.5 ohms because going lower may ruin the battery. The battery will also not last as long between recharges.
Your best bet would be a larger battery and a better juice delivery device. My suggestion would be an ego twist but you will get many other suggestions.

Wow that's loads of info... thanks .. maybe I will try this out for a few weeks. .. I tried it at home and after the shakes it works much better..

Yes it was expensive but I didn't wanna get delivered cause I need to hide my habit haha

Also is it normal to taste the flavor for a while? I got blueberry and my burps taste like em and I can taste in my mouth even after eating and a few hours.

I guess I'll look at the kanger or visit canvape,s booth at the flea market sometime in the next month..

I'm thinking of getting the xl battery with a catomizer. .

Congrats & welcome! Feel free to ask questions! It sounds like you have a good plan - keep with what you have for a bit. There are a lot of options and it can take some time to decide what would be best for you. There are many people here who started out just like you and they're very willing to share their experience and advice. You can see that from some of the responses you've gotten already. We like to help new vapers! :vapor:

Glad to hear it helped. Worst thing you can do to a cartomizer is let it run dry cuz the filler will burn= horrible taste that won't go away= toss the carto in the garbage. As for expensive some have done much worse and look at it as an investment in your future. I'm guessing your age but I only wish they had the Ecig around when I was younger.
As the battery loses it's power sometimes the juice isn't as vaporized as it should be. "Sometimes" burps can be from ingesting a little juice-= not a big deal.
PG and VG are humectants...
A humectant is a substance used primarily in foods and cosmetic products to help retain moisture. These substances are called hygroscopic, which means that they are able to absorb ambient water. These hygroscopic compounds posses a chemical structure that attracts water from the atmosphere and binds it to various sites along the molecule.

When we inhale PG/ VG it "traps" the moisture in our mouth, throat and nasal area and thus the vapor. The real problem arises when the body is dehydrated and begins "stealing" moisture from other parts of the body to keep key organs hydrated.
I had a convert that didn't believe vaping was dehydrating. I showed him his fingernails- there were vertical rails on them. Told him this was a sign of serious dehydration. He began drinking water/ hydrating and within a couple of months his fingernails returned to normal...he's now a believer. Ask any chemist and they will tell you the same.

As far as Canvape better to buy online and pickup at the store= much cheaper.
