My husband, my oldest son, 25 and myself are the only smokers in our house but we did/do smoke in our house. We are all three vaping now and doing pretty good at it so far. A pack of cigs will last me at least 5 days when I used to to smoke at least 2 packs a day, usually more. My son is down to 1 cig a day and the hubby is bringing up the rear with a half pack a day but he is doing better.

When we are at the in-laws though that was another story. Not many on my husband's side of the family smoked so we couldn't smoke inside. I am disabled and can't walk without crutches so going outside and down stairs, stand and smoke a cig, go back up the stairs to get inside was a huge ordeal for me. Now I can happily sit in the recliner that they have reserved for me and vape my little heart out!

I have got one cousin vaping and my sister-in-law is trying to get onto the bandwagon also. All of us really enjoy not having to go outside in the cold, rain, whatever nasty weather there was, to have a cig. I don't do this but the others do, they will go into the bathroom to vape just to be polite. I'm spoiled so they dont make me do it,lol

My goal is to be free from all of it. With my lungs the way they are it is stupid to risk a problem with the PG or VG any longer than necessary. Right now PG/VG is better than tobacco and that is my choice right now.....well other than none at all but forget that, not going to happen.

I had planned on getting the e-cig and smoking like I used to, which was basically whenever/wherever/however/for as long as I wanted as much as I wanted..........etc. I loved the idea of being able take a puff on it, hold it while doing other stuff like I used to, without it burning away. I may still try that a few times, just to convince myself that it was a good idea afterall:)

But I have been reading here all day and I am convinced that I have certain habits and I can either maintain the habits I have or make new ones. I think new ones are going to be counter productive because old habits dictate I go out to smoke, and I enjoyed that, the going out part:) I have a beautiful view, nice fresh air and we have a wide variety of birds making their families here this year. Good entertainment:) That way I shouldn't smoke anymore than I did before, well, at least I shouldn't go out any more often than normal, and I know I won't stay out there longer, so, problem solved, right?????????
