Hm. I don't consider myself very political. If anything, I am a liberal conservative. Jung test scored me as an extroverted introvert. Go figure. I don't like rabble rousers, but yes, I am an NPR nerd. I get most of my news via NPR, The Daily Show, and the Colbert Report.
Before this goes all political, I must stress I am very passive, and I never argue or debate politics. I just feel the need to explain myself. I prefer John Stewart and Stephen Colbert because news in any other format is unpalatable (to me). I need that little shot of humor or satire to make these inane, and insane, events digestible mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Also, one thing I know for sure, even if they do give it a humorous slant, I'm still getting facts.
Although I am 100% completely addicted to NPR, I find myself switching over to the local Fox Talk Radio channel to listen to Andy Dean during the week at night on the ride home from work. I looked him up on line. Reminds me of Vogel/Fogel from Superbad. He's another pompous jackass, but I think I could sit
through an actual evening of conversation was involved. All the rest of the Right Wing/Fox/Hannity/Rush/Beck talk show hosts, I totally skip over.... unless I'm lucky, and it's really, really, really late at night, and I get to catch a few minutes of that quacky
alien/orbs/ghosts/interdimensional/Mayan/Roswell/Greys/psychic powers radio show, sort of like Art Bell. But it's not Art Bell, anymore. I've heard Dan Aykroyd on that program a lot. That guy is a total nut job.
