Dumb newbie question...does anyone use the Nuppin in a single coil configure? Does it still give great flavor or is there a better atty that I might am for? I hoping to get a new Woodvil and will be able to use a LP atty for the first time. I have a SP Mini and a Woodvil 490 from the last run. I use RM2 and Divo on those two. Just need some advice from the experts on what I should look for next. Thanks.

Linda

Mine has been single coil since I got it. Around 0.7 ohms with 3mm ReadyXWick. Best flavour and vape ever. Waiting for my 2nd Nuppin to try duals.

You can use a single coil in the Nuppin. I would suggest a twisted single though. The Nuppin is incredibly versatile. Most can tell you I was a small Atty (Cyclone, RM2, Divo) single coil kinds gal till I bought my Nuppins...I would encourage you to try dual coil. I was amazed how easy it is to set up the Nuppin with dual coils. However, yes...the Nuppin is awesome for single coil too. At least you would have an Atty you can experiment with!

Hey T, I dropped you a note in your PM but it keeps showing it doesn't get sent.

You won't go far wrong with both an Odin and Nuppin'. Worst case, you can sell the Odin on if/when you get the Nup.

One thing you can do now is go to the pdib thread and fill out the Nuppin' interest questionnaire. Peter is gauging public desire for a second run through this doc. It's not a commitment or preorder - it's just a poll (and so, also not a guarantee of getting one). It'd be a shame for dibby to skip making a run because he doesn't know the true interest.

Looks like a second run is extremely likely.

Last I saw he was thinking another 150 and already had something like 130 more that folks were interested in from his poll.

Hoping he does the second run, I want up to 5 more (already bought extra Routers just in case). ;)

Dang, brother. When you go in, you go aaaaaall in. I still remember ribbing you when you said didn't know if reos were going to play a big part in your vaping life.

Yep, the Papa Pimp days were a lot of fun. ;)

No doubt I went through most of my life with my hair on fire, and when I decided to do something I did it all the way or not at all. The bod doesn't allow the hair on fire gigs anymore, but I still go all in when I buy something new that I really like. My last brand of mods bought cost nearly $4500, and there would have been more of them if I hadn't took the plunge into Reos and liked them so much. A brand new version of one from them I already have comes out this Friday - I would have bought at least 2 of them. But the Reos are all I use now... even since soon after I got that first Reo all but a couple of all my other mods were put in storage retired, and that couple only used with RDA's occasionally when a new joose to try comes. Currently I'm only running 5 of my 9 Reos, but am looking to get #10 real soon, another LPG. Just waiting for The Spa to get the new ones changed over to adjustable 510's and have time to 510 2-3 of my others, LP one of them, etc as well so I can send them all in together and get them back ASAP. I'll have to survive while they are gone on my Woodvil's, which is fine other than that also means the Nuppin's will be out of service until they come back. If Peter does make more Nuppin's though I'll be needing a few more LP Reos. Then I will probably get rid of some of my other Reos, a bunch of bf atty's and a truckload of other mods since they are not getting used at all and probably never will be again. IOW I finally found my niche... LP Grands/Nuppin's and 18650 Woodvil's/VA Cyclones, at least until I see the new mech Woodies (and if they have adj 510's for Nuppin's). Still have reservations about getting any of the new Resin Reos. I'm a wood kind of guy first, metal's second but am not into plastic anything much.

It's basically a 19mm ibtanked halfling carto tank without the bottom cap. Since I only had the XL carto tank mine got 17mm cut off. Drilling the holes challenged me a bit...
Nice! If only I had some ib tanks sittin around... I only have old kayfuns, gamma ( with broken glass) an aqua and a fogger. None of them are used at all anymore but I think.most of them are 22mm anyway...

Hmmm... I've got a halfling not doing anything. What did you use for a base and how did you manage the holes?

After a few tweaks I found my sweet spot with my Nuppin'!
I'm not a big cloud chaser but rather prefer warmth & flavor with a tighter draw to simulate a "normal" hit from a stinky vs big airy lung hits from a ....!?!
I have this baby dialed in with a single coil 8/9 wrap of 29g wire on 16g luer, 2mm RxW comes in a little over 1 ohm. Also contrary to the popular big bore drip tips I love my little contoured delrin shorty. Seems to condense the vape producing even more flavor than my wide bores. Put in on a month ago and haven't touched it! Not even tempted to try dual coils yet as this has been perfect for me! Really enjoying the "flavor" of DIY "unflavored" juice on the Nuppin'.

Base? That 19mm tank is 14mm ID and fits Nuppin.

Normal carto tank top/end cap with a ring section of carto inserted and devoted so that it is sort of permanent allows use of standard drip tips.

Drilling the air holes ... a rounded end diamond bit with lube and short little pecks worked best for me (cheap HF bit set). I just ordered some smaller round tip bits because the smallest one I have was too big.

Nice set of hacks. Thanks for sharing.

Hmmm... I've got an oversized dt that doesn't fit any atty, so I might have a serendipitous solution to the top cap hole issue. Off to see if I can find any of my diamond bits (I know they're in here somewhere).
