Once the V2 is released do you think the V1 will still sell in the classys ok? In other words should I feel pressured to make a decision about selling or not selling my Nuppin quickly? Such a hard decision...especially when I'm not positive the atty is in good shape. I assume it's user error, but the screws and connections in this atty are so awful I don't know what to even say about it in the classies. Again I assume user error but when I've had nothing but trouble with the screws I almost wonder if the atty is in not-perfect-shape (I got it like 3rd hand)

(and yes, I've got a bunch of extras - brand new screws are no better)

I read theat the V2 is in production and the classies are the place to look for V1's.. Who sells the Nuppin when they are available?

The Nuppin V2 goes on sale near the end of the week is the word now :)
here's were to look it will be posted in this thread

The supplier linked above (pdib) is the Nuppin' creator. AFAIK, they aren't made available through any other site or vendor when they go on sale - you need to PM him to arrange purchase and shipping if you wanted a V2.

The classies or other pre-owned outlets are the only way to get V1's as they were all sold out.

I don't think so, but maybe - but I've got a wiha which is the same one SuperX uses and I don't think he has any issues. Thanks for the benefit of the doubt though - I bet you I'm just a clutz :)

I've got the wiha and the Thorpe. The wiha is a lot looser that the Thorpe. I stripped out the hex on my first nuppin with a wiha, then I ordered the Thorpe from Amazon and haven't stripped one since. It will ease a lot of frustration in your builds if you don't have to worry about the screws.

Interesting...thanks for that input. I'll hang on to this nuppin and get a Thorpe then :)

What's the size or do you have a link for purchase?

So I'm a bit intrigued with this Nuppin. Flavor is number 1 for me. I've not gotten into dual coils yet (may not). So far, over the last year and a half of Reo love, I have been pleased with the RM2 and the IGO BF, both from Rob .(both I've drilled the air hole a tad larger). Am thinking about scoring a LP something in the future. What is the next logical atty step? Flavor #1 and #2 would like to somehow have a more front pant pocket friendly Reo set-up. (No drips).

Any opinions, Reonauts?

I'm a single coil 1 ohm-ish vapor, the only RBA I like better than a Nuppin is the much more expensive Chalice. I've got three Nuppins and will be adding an all black and all brass V2 when they are out.

Have an atty coming early next week that may challenge my Nuppin's some. ;)

Great score, for single coils I like them slightly better than a Nuppin. I've drilled mine out to 1/16th air hole, With a little slip streaming of air around the drip tip I lung inhale on my Chalices. I like the II just a tad better than the III.

Get ready for Z coils, a short leg on one side makes mounting easier.

Thanks Papa!! We are so lucky to be surrounded with such a helpful community. I've done some Googling on the Nuppin but not sure who sells them. I read theat the V2 is in production and the classies are the place to look for V1's.. Who sells the Nuppin when they are available?

How did you drill out the holes on the III, FB? They look pretty integrated with the cap (running the length of it).

Haven't been brave enough to mess with the III yet, I drilled my version II Chalices out, they have slightly more flow than the III wide open. I've wondered if opening the inside hole of III will help. I'm not sure if the restriction is there or if it is because of the clearance in the double wall.

Picked it up at my mail place in the wee hours of the night, and it's way, way more impressive in hand than from pictures. The 29 ga wire I want to run in it is not here yet though. I'm a lung hitter, a very long one, so I'll probably have to drill it out. But I will try it as is for a while to avoid that if I can. Z coils are not a problem for me, but thanks for the tip on a short leg. Bet I'd have found that out in short order, not a lot of room there for big hands. This one only came in it's bag with one set of screws and nothing else... so I'll be looking to get a spare set or two of screws. Wouldn't take much to loose one. Still don't know what I'll run it on, all my Reos have dedicated atty's and a couple of spares for each as well. Probably on one of the Woodvil's, although if I build high enough with a safety net it would look amazing on the VVG SV (currently sports a nickel RM2 and Router). Guess I need to decide which ADV it'll get, that'll dictate the build it gets. Can hardly wait to try it.

It'd do well on a mini (either wood or metal).

I'm thinking the air flow is gated by the cap channels (plus you'd have to drill both the top and bottom holes) - my only pet peeve with the atty. It's a stellar piece of engineering otherwise.

Good to see you back on the boards more, BTW.

I have a STD Mini 2.1 S/O, and a 18490 Woodie (& 2 14500 Woodies). Their batts don't stand up as well to my VVLH's (especially not the 14500's). Why I am mostly all about the 18650 Reos now days. I'll probably try it on the Mini 2.1 or 18490 first, depending on the build.
