Only went with one more to try the new design out myself, see how it reacts to my vaping style before committing to any more. Nautical Brass coming.

With many other larger atty's now only 2 of my 3 Nuppin V1's are still on-line for the time being... may even go down to one. Had to pull one to give me a couple of LP Grands free to try all of the others out. A Freakshow and Lancia at the moment, waiting in the wings a Veritas, Rogue, Magma, CLT with more 22mm coming. Have a Chalice II and Hornet that need to get dialed in as well but I'll do them on the Mini 2.1 and Mini OG. Sure was easier when it was just a bunch of RM2's, RM3, A6, ERA, Atomic, Cyclones, IGO-S and other smaller bf atty's that would also fit in all my Woodvil's and non LP Reos. If the printed parts ever get here for the Peko's they'll take some of the strain off the Reos, although I plan to just use them for atty/joose test vehicles (up to 4 of them). Well, that's the plan anyway 'cause I'm not a fan of plastic anything.

Nor was I. An 18650, a 26650, and a GDNA later, I'm all in and ordering up for more. The plastic is more durable than I first thought, and they all just work so well. Also, they fit the hand more comfortably than a Reo as well. :)

Lots of folks really like them, some more than Reos. That's great if that's what suits them best. That won't be the case with me no matter how well they work though simply because they are plastic. I just don't like the look or feel of plastic. Have never dropped a mod, ever, so it has nothing to do with durability. I bought the 4 kits because it would give me plenty of bf's to do all test runs with, and keep all my Reos free for their dedicated atty's/ADV's. I've always been a wood guy and find the Woodvil's to be plenty comfortable in my hands. So if I really had my druthers all my working Reos would be Woodvil's that could run any size of atty. Something for folks here to keep in mind maybe after the upcoming Woodvil sale day if they have a change of heart... we do have a swap thread here in Reoville, and I have a fair share of nice Reos that could be made available as trade material. :)

The nuppin v1 has been good to me! But I'm ogling the v2. I'm wondering if the lack of lip would allow one to lower the afc holes so coils can be built closer to deck. On reo, I'd raise 510 a lil which should render nuppin afc lower? & also wondering if the slightly taller afc holes on v2 stop the occasional whistling sound. Betting this has been covered but octa's out of the loop lately. Again, very happy w/ V1 for long time now!

The AFC holes are not higher. The AFC rings from V1 and V2 are interchangeable. The base below the AFC has been shortened by the thickness of the lip below the AFC on the V1. Yes you could slightly lower the AFC as you suggest. But don't go too high you want plenty of threads in the 510 engaged with too few threads engage you're more likely to get damage from a drop.
