$1500 Ouch!!! This giving up smoking can get damned expensive!

Spending a lot of money is not required at all. Lots of folks get by just fine with 1 or 2 mods and stay off the stinky's, actually save a lot of money in the process as well as their health. In my case it was just personal choice to make vaping and DIY a hobby, to now own near 50 mods and endless toppers and other gear for them that cost 4 times what staying on the stinky's would have cost the last 2 years. Just part of the process to find out which mods work the best for me and my style of vaping. Did the same the 35 plus years I smoked pipes along with the stinky's... had well over 100 of them, most of them high end but I still only carried and smoked them one at a time. My routine with mods is 10-12 on-line all the time day and night to grab which one with which joose fits my fancy at the moment. Now that means only Reos, all the other mods are retired. I do have all the parts to build 2 Peko's, and the kits for 2 more just needing the 3D printed parts. So will build 2 as joose test mods one of these days just to see if they have a place in my daily use before deciding the fate of the other 2 kits. I will have enough Reos now that I don't really need them at all. Reos are #1 here, I don't see that changing.

Ya think? [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

Nah, but it looked good on paper. You're like me in some ways... but with no family anymore I don't have the checks and balances you do. I see something wanted, buy it, let the chips fall where they may, end of story. ;)

(Placed 2 more orders this morning... me bad, lost cause):)

I'm like you...no family to worry about anymore. I have informed my kids they will have to sell my vape gear to collect their inheirtance...lol. I buy what I want, when I want...it feels good too. Like you, I've spent well over $1500 on vape gear since the first of the year with no regrets.

I was never a collector. At least, not a good one. As a kid, my stamp collection consisted of 4 stamps... which I used to mail a valentine to a girl I was sweet on.

As a smoker, I was a 1-pack-at-a-time convenience store shopper and used a disposable lighter, but as a reonaut I've become something of a hoarder. Not gonna lie - part of the thinking is that this whole scene could come crashing down on us due to regulation and I want gear that will stand the test of time in a vape-barren world, but mostly it's just fun and a (relatively) harmless self indulgence.

Despite this, I'm still money well ahead of smoking and the health improvement is, well, priceless.

My grown son will get what is mine as the only "family" left. Knowing his ways he will keep a few things maybe... but sell, giveaway to friends or trash the rest. The later three what he's done with most of the truckloads I've given him over the years.

I almost got it done with 5.5 Nuppin's for 6 LP Grands. Will use the 1 Grand short for switching other atty's on and call it good enough for them for now.

The leaking I was expecting with the V2's because of my vaping style is there, but it's very minor and easy to live with. Only 2 of my Nuppin's are all V2, the half V2 upgrades one of the V1's, and they don't leak at all.

I haven't experienced any leaking, so far. I think it's because it drains so well. There's no left over juice in the well to leak. My other favorite atty, the Odin, will leak a bit from the air hole sometimes, following a heavy squonk, if it's tilted too much.
