"But the agency has never presented evidence that the trace amounts actually cause any harm, and it has neglected to mention that similar traces of these chemicals have been found in other F.D.A.-approved products, including nicotine patches and gum." - In mainstream media print!

What a great article! Kudos to John Tierney and thank you Bill for once again taking the time to provide the facts.

Anybody surf a level deeper into this one and check out the AMAZING position piece from the
American Association of Public Health Physicians: http://www.aaphp.org/Resources/Documents/20100402AAPHPEcigLegisStatemnt.pdf

A mainstream media source with support from a mainstream, hugely credible Medical Association both taking a solid, substantiated position!

I can't wait to watch this echo down the wire!

There are quite a few interesting links in that piece (including to journal articles), likely as a result of Bill sending John Tierney his thorough packets of information about e-cigarettes and harm reduction.

If you have the opportunity or cause to speak with John again, Bill, please extend our thanks and compliments on the article. I see it is posted on Reddit, and now being shared among my vaping friends on Facebook. One would hope the hits it receives on their website would tell them its a topic to cover more of in the future. :) A good step forward towards public education when so much of our popular media seems hell-bent on the reverse nowadays.
