Stopped in at the local smoke shop thinking it would be nice to have a spare CE4... i knew they would jack up the price ... uhmmm yeahhh they wanted $15 plus tax for it. HECK NO!
I showed the guy on my phone that they dont even cost HALF that online.... and he goes on and on about "thats the price you pay for convenience. By the time you pay shipping it would cost you more, it's overhead... yadda yadda yadda"

You've GOT to be kidding me. They won't be seeing me in their store for their crappy products ever again.

Edited to remove store name.

Yikes that is a crazy markup on a CE4 clearomizer. I was put back when the only B&M around me wanted to charge $8 for a Stardust Clearomizer. Needless to say I didn't make a purchase. I'm good on all that stuff except for the standard cartomizers, I forgot to order some and now I can't use my Ibtanked tank :( I'll make sure to get them next week :vapor:

I have completely given up on the local B&M here. Prices are almost double on everything and I am just not going to pay it. I have no problem waiting a few days and getting twice as much.

I will always try and support a local business but the last time I left there I almost called the cops and told them I was just robbed.

It is unfortunate that this is the way it may become if the FDA and government authorities have their way. With all the proposed bans going on around the country, I fear I may not be able to one day order my supplies from an out of town source. I stopped by my local mall today, a small kiosk vapor station exists there. I inquired about a bottle of eLiquid . . . WHAT? Oh yeah, they wanted $22 for a 15ml bottle. Hell No!!!! I have thought about attempting to make my own eLiquid. I don't believe I am a dummy (I did graduate from the 6th grade) but I am not a chemist either. Just how hard and/or technical this procedure is, I don't know. Will have to do some research.

This same store sells 10ml for $25. It's insane. I'll be patient and wait for my kanger tank

Why are you dissing a B&M by name over the price of one CE4? There is no way they can compete with online prices, especially from China. What site did you show him? How it their customer service especially where newbies are concerned? Is he located in a high rent area? Some shops really are out only for themselves while others try hard to help their customers out. You have a fantastic avatar, I’m happy you are apparently thrilled about vaping but your post is very unfair considering the amount of information you have provided. Please consider removing the name of the shop from your post.

A CE4 costs a reseller at most $2. I think it is fair to vapers to call out any reseller that wants $15 for it.

What is amazing is how easy it is to get into diy liquid. There is a whole forum here with thousands of threads. It takes some practice and patience but anyone can do it and you don't have to be a chemist, Just be determined to do it cheaper.

Very True...
I just took a Mounds Candy Bar...and melted it on a hot radiator....
That's about the closest vaporizing experience of Bobas Bounty you can get ....

$15 is extreme and so is $25 for 10 ml of juice. But that's free enterprise. It's just a shame that people unknowingly are ripped off by free enterprise. Those sellers won't last long against honest competition
