This happened to me yesterday! Went and picked up two evods, 21.18 later :( and both the coils were shot and unlike anything I've seen before - probably knock offs! I'm a little irked to say the least..if you're going to charge that atleast make sure it's a good product. End rant.

Edit: He did say he was getting some itaste vv 3.0's in today and would be charging 44.99 for them, which seems right on par other than at 101vapes. He told me 25.99 is less than wholesale, so I'm not sure how 101vapes is doing it. Either way, he said if he were me, he would order the 101vapes one. Atleast he's honest :) (in that regard, but not in the knock off evod one! )

Im pretty lucky now with a nearby B&M store. This established place close to home just had a competing "vapor lounge" move in right next door. The established place appear to have immediately moved to price the new competitor out of business. They hung a sign in their window saying "dont pay vapor lounge prices" and cut all of their own prices. Now everything is pretty close to being the same price as online stores and I get the immediate satisfaction of new toys!

Stopped in at the local smoke shop thinking it would be nice to have a spare CE4... i knew they would jack up the price ... uhmmm yeahhh they wanted $15 plus tax for it. HECK NO!
I showed the guy on my phone that they dont even cost HALF that online.... and he goes on and on about "thats the price you pay for convenience. By the time you pay shipping it would cost you more, it's overhead... yadda yadda yadda"

You've GOT to be kidding me. They won't be seeing me in their store for their crappy products ever again.

Edited to remove store name.

I feel ya. I just purchased a vision spinner from a local smoke shop and they charged $30 which I believe is only $5 more than you would normally see online but then I purchased some Kangers T3S's at $12 a pop and they are about half that online. It's just the nature of the game.....

There are 2 B&M stores close to me. The first is a smoke shop with a huge ecig supply selection. I think that is their main source of business even if they didn't start out that way. Their prices are high but not outrageous for a B&M store. I stay away from their juices because they're ridiculously overpriced and taste bad. Their hardware isn't too bad though. Like $33 for an 1100mah ego C-Twist or 1300mah Smoktech Winder. Things like ce4 are probably around $7 or so. I haven't inquired on the prices recently. The other store makes juices on the spot and they're excellent quality. Pricey, but not overpriced, if that makes sense. Their hardware prices are insane though. I'd never buy hardware from their store no matter how desperate I was. They charge $70 for a starter kit which consists of a 800mah 3.7v ego battery, evod tank, and usb charger.

My local charges more than online, naturally.
I think my SVD from there was about twice as much as China online. A little more than it should be in my book but I've heard of places that go triple or higher. But he's also handed me a couple of 18350s at no charge, which isn't bad considering he knows he won't be making much off me as I DIY, rebuild and have a bunch of stuff.

I'm probably going to get an VTR from them. It's not quite twice as much but the dollar amount is harder to accept because I'm not rich and in probably less than 6 months they've expanded to a second location so they must not be hurting. There is not only a convenience aspect but a "what are you going to do if they pass a law banning online sales?" aspect. I will continue throwing him some money and sending people there, especially if he throws me freebees to offset the additional costs.

If he was triple the cost of online, I'd stay online.
