Are you using that with temperature control?

Also, is anyone else using the Crius with NiFe or even just nickel or titanium? I generally run temperature control, so the last check mark the Crius needs for me to go for it is working well with temperature control coils. Alternatively, I was thinking of just buying some 22 gauge kanthal if that would work as a back up. Hoping for big power with the latter set up unless you all think 32/28 or 32/26 clapton 2.5 would fit and would be better for big power? Haven't built anything but RDAs before.

I have 28/32 Claptons in mine, 2.5mm coils.

I had the same problem. I'm assuming you have the black version where it's more noticeable and annoying. Any condensation or leaking will show at that seam. I think it's the design inside the base somehow the juice runs in between the are where the afc ring spins and then the juice get pushed up in that area. I tightened my 510 carefully and it seemed to work by slimming down the gap. Every now and then I see some juice build up there but not nearly as much as before.

I'm useing it with titanium claptons 28g titanium core with 32g kanthal wrap on a 2.5id. I've never been so happy with a build in a rta. I have another crius and have a twisted 26g titanium build and even though it was great it just doesn't compare to the Clapton build.

Yes im using the black one, if i use tissue to wipe it and apply a little pressure in the gap more juice comes out... Annoying

I feel your pain. The 510 trick helped and I've been keeping my juice holes at about half with thinner liquids. The juice just runs down to that area
Im running 25% flavorwest, 3 ml nic and rest vg (100ml mixes) i think my juice is thick enough... But no still leaks lol

I have been using it with titanium 0,4mm and nife30 from zipvif 0,32 mm in temp control mode
I haven't vaped on kanthal for quite a while. I haven't even tried to build a kanthal coil in the crius
I can say it works

Did that, still leaks
Given you've tried everything, you could disconnect your tank and inspect the rubber gasket that creates the seal between it and the base.

There's spares in the box so maybe just replace it and see if that helps...if not, there's a tolerance issue and you should see if you can return the tank in exchange for a new one.

I suspect its my builds problem plus i didnt screw the base snug, redid my build with a little more cotton, and screwed the base in snug

Hmmm still have seepage... Sighs

You're not the only one. :( I've taken mine all apart and replaced all the o rings, also tried a number of different wicks but it still leaks.

Shame really for it produces a great flavour. :) I wonder if a number of these have some quality issues to them. :(

Thanks everyone for your input on the temperature control wire with the Crius.

Is it fair to say the problems here are occurring mainly in the black Crius's (Crii? lol what would be the plural form?) I have enough stainless tanks and was leaning towards getting a black one. I'm guessing it likely does not have anything to do with the color but anecdotally, that seems to be the case here?
