Thanks everyone for your input on the temperature control wire with the Crius.

Is it fair to say the problems here are occurring mainly in the black Crius's (Crii? lol what would be the plural form?) I have enough stainless tanks and was leaning towards getting a black one. I'm guessing it likely does not have anything to do with the color but anecdotally, that seems to be the case here?
I have a black v3 and a white v2 with zero issues and they work really nice in TC. That's all the builds I've put in these 2 tanks. Very happy but now the wife wants to switch her 3 subtanks to all Crius's (Crii lol).

My black v2 has not leaked, except today. I don't fault the tank actually, I had it in my pocket doing yard work before the family shows tomorrow. I know for a fact it was on its side and maybe upside down for periods of time while working. The last time I took it out the tank and the mod were wet. Unsure exactly where it leaked as everything was wet. I'm sure it was from being jostled around while raking, cutting etc... Outside of this occasion it hasn't leaked on me.

Also anyone else notice the velocity deck at wetvapes for 12 bucks.

I have discovered a concern. Anyone else noticed the ring/seal at the top of the fill area losing its shape? I can now see it in the area where you fill poking out in an abnormal way. Atleast in a way that I didn't notice before. Like the silicone is losing shape. Anyone else see this, just below the top that raises.

I have 2 black ones and only do temperature control with Ti. Works great and no leaks.

Has to be the wicking that's letting it 'leak'. Mine was bone-dry. Now, a few days later (different build & wick) it sweats a bit at the seam between the afc & jfc. So I broke it down cleaned it up, recoiled, rewicked and reloaded again today. It's only been about an hour and a half but so far so good. It's dry. Someone suggested the Scottish roll wicking method to me, as his Crius tanks are done that way and he has no leaks. I haven't tried that yet, but I suspect it's the wicking that's causing this. Fwiw.

I top up to only about 3/4 of a tank when I'm @home. Have re-filled twice since the rebuild and the initial fill, and it's been almost six hours - not a bead of moisture at the bottom thread. I'm feeling v. good about this. Wicked just right, and there are no leaks. At least, until something or someone shows me otherwise, I'm convinced it's just the wicking.

I think the issue also has to do with the fact that a full tank lasts you more than 6 hours! if you empty a tank in 15 minutes that metal gets very hot and therefore expands. I think that causes leaking in all tanks - at least that's my experience:p If I'm understanding wnat you're saying of course!

Still rocking with the single coil on the Crius, no leaking and no dry hits, actually surprised how well it is working with a single coil, they should've made it with one of the side plugs for single coil, then probably even more people would want it,

Hi, mind letting me know how you managed to build a single coil in your Crius? Thxs.
