Quick question. No burning taste here, but something different. Just got my first "tail" style wick smok ViVi Nova after coming from the Kanger T3S.. Immediately after opening I took a dry drag with no juice, battery etc to see how it pulled off the start, and noticed just the air i was pulling through had a funny taste, just from the dry tank. Almost like plastic-ish it's hard to describe. I filled it, let it sit for 10 minutes or so and tried it, with the same funny after taste at the end of my exhale, but the beginning parts of the exhale tasted fine? Could it just be coming from the wick, that I'm not used to? Thanks! I look forward to learning a lot here.

Edit: Forgot to add I have not cleaned it yet. I will try this next and see how it goes.

Darnit. That's what I was afraid of, after doing some reading. Worst timing possible, as I only have a few ML (def. not enough to re-fill and re-try) left after filling the gigantic tank all the way. I poured the juice back into my T3S for time being, but I guess I'll just dump it. Thanks for the quick reply!

Know the feeling and it sucks. Did that with the first clearomizer I tried. Which was odd cause I'd been on this forum about a year  Sorry that it happened while low on e liquid :(

See how it tastes in your T3S..if it's still good you may be able to salvage it.....:)

that's the thing, it's hard to tell. At first it seemed okay, but I'm using a Juicy Fruit gum flavor and the flavor tends to taste a little dry when chain vaping it. I guess my taste buds get used to it. To be on the safe side I dumped it and cleaned out both tanks. I'll make a trip to the vape shop tomorrow and see how the ViVi runs after the cleanse. To be updated, lol.

New vivi wicks tend to do that at first. Takes a couple tanks to sort of break them in. You could also try boiling the heads for a few mins. That taste should go away after vaping a few mls. thriughh

Well that makes me feel a little better about vapor dirty CNC machine oils, if so :D Either way, lesson learned.
