Any help or suggestions appreciated guys, this one really has me scratching my head.

Ok i make up the odysseus with no problems, had the iAtty since launch so i'm experienced at coil building and avoiding all the basic mistakes.

Everything goes fine, i make a coil with an extra piece on top (as in scott's vid) to act as a juice buffer, but as soon as i take a draw it gurgles and leaks through the centre pole, everything is done up tight, juice control is fully closed and this is 100% vg juice as well.

Now here is the strange head scratching part, when it's leaking i blow down the mouthpiece to clear the excess juice from the centre pole, i can then stand it on it's base and not a single leak, but as soon as i reattach it to a device it gurgles and leaks from the centre pole again, this happens on both my ggts and lavatube.

Anybody had this happen to them or maybe can share a thought on why it's happening?

Thanks for reading :)

Hiya Eye,

My o-ring was deformed when i received it but after i took it all to bits and reseated the o-ring then it was fine once tightened, i do have a few other sizes so maybe i'll try those.

As for connection i normally just tighten everything so the centre pole is just protruding from the connection then the ggts takes up the slack with it being telescopic.

Did you have exactly the same problems i'm having before you changed your o-ring size?

What i also have learned is that the wire wich you have under the knurled ring to make contact is best to be a single wire.
What i am trying to say is that the piece where you twist the NR and R wire should be short, so that it is not double on the point where the knurled ring makes contact. Maybe this helps.

A good tip Hvdp, but like you i always make sure it's a single wire, i think having a single wire trapped is much more logical than a 3 ply wire

Not with the gurgling when connected, but it kept on gurgling, I would blow it out and 2 mins later it would gurgle again, leave it standing after blowing it out and no probs, took it apart and saw the O Ring was sticking out of one side so put the right size on so it was snug on the centre pin and when tight no more problems (touch wood)

I had a similar problem too. You might want to check the centre pin on the GG itself. When mine had leaked, juice had got onto the centre pin of the mod so when I re-attached the Ody, I was sucking up juice that was still in the GGTS from the first time it'd leaked. A quick dab with a tissue to soak it all up soon sorted it.

I tried it with a lava tube that has a static connection like the stealth Hvdp, i actually think it's a pressure problem

quick update: i decided to go at this from another direction and changed the o-ring underneath the securing nut on the cap
using the one supplied when the securing nut was tightened down onto the cap i could still move the o-ring from underneath the cap, there was no pressure at all on the o-ring with the securing nut locked down tight.

I could also move the mouthpiece from side to side, it wasn't giving a seal
So i replaced the mouthpiece o-ring with a thicker one and now the gurgling and leaking has stopped, fingers crossed this is now providing a good seal.

Can anybody else move their mouthpiece from side to side when the juice control is opened up fractionally? mine is now nice and sealed without any movement even when the juice control is fully open.

I'm hoping it's now fault free and the problem was mismatched o-rings being supplied
