Odor?

So far my favorite juice is a tobacco blend from Simply Vapes. The problem is that it has an odor. I didn't realize it until I was in a bar last night and a couple of people complained about it. I switched to watermelon which they said smelled better and they stopped complaining. Is there a good tobacco flavored juice that doesn't have any odor, or is that just the way it is?

well from MY experiences...most ejuices all have a smell of somekind. i vape mostly tobacco juices and i personally dont smell much from the vape fumes probably since im a fairly new vaporer and my smell sense is still kinda dead from 36 years of analog cigs....i have however had a couple of people tell me that a particular juice smell was nasty. but everybody has their OWN sense of smell (just like taste) and whatever offends one person may not offend another. i dont go to bars and vape myself, but if i did, i would not even worry about somebody being offended by the "smell" of my vape...just my thoughts on the subject...

Well, the issue is that if people complain you get told to stop or go outside (happened last night). Switching to something more pleasant avoided that problem but I it would be nice if there were a good one without an odor.

Maybe that's just asking too much I guess. I'll just have to make sure and use pleasant smelling juices out in public.

The trouble is, smell and taste are so closely connected. If something tastes a certain way, it will also smell a similar way.

When I get drunk I tend to prefer a good ol' HS impulse (tobacco flavour) 24mg as well, which will be more noticeable and offensive to people around unfortunately

I suppose I have been fortunate, but there have been no complaints about my smoking in the office. These same people complain when a cigarette smoker come back in from the outside and smells like smoke. I decided that if vaping offends people around me, I'll remind them it is not smoke, but a water vapor and ask if they would like me to go outside. Usually they say Oh! really. No problem.

Nobody I know complains about strawberry shortcake. I don't do tobacco flavors. I haven't had anybody say to me my vapor stinks, and I do all sorts of flavors. They usually say it smells yummy or something to that effect.

Cool. I am going to have to gravitate to less tobacco flavors and more "yummy" flavors I guess. Have to admit I am loving watermelon so far.

Have you tried an RY4 yet? It's a tobacco base with vanilla and caramel. I've gone through phases with the flavors. I started with desserts, then went to fruit (mixed berries, watermelon, and blackberry), then for the last 4 months I'm back to tobacco flavors. I'm fortunate that my local vape shop (20 mins away from home) has delicious tobacco flavor mixes. Another tobacco blend that smells like mead according to my non-smoking daughter, is the 555. It's a nutty tobacco blend.

i was silly enough to start vaping at my desk.....heard some old lady say "smells like apples in here". that was me! think i wont be trying thtat at my desk any more, simply walk out into the hall or visit the storage closet from now on

My take on the office "noses" is, if there's no "policy" against it, "Bite Me". Go complain about a smoker.
Write a policy or ..... Maybe I'm crass, or just plain straight to the point. If there's a "No Tobacco" policy then I vape 0% and there's nothing to piss and moan about. Again, bite me. Just my 2¢.

Funny you say that about tobacco flavors. When i visit family, they are very happy i don't go outside for a smoke anymore and i vaporize every room I'm in. The last time I was there, my sister walked in a room, scrunched her nose and said, "It smells like PI$$ in here.
Sad part is, she was right. My backy flavors do have that smell.

What is it guys? too much, too little, need more steep time, or just a funky flavoring. Seems to be in Wizard labs tobacco and Capt Black flavorings.

Yeah that's my inclination but when in a business like a bar you have to respect the business owner's rights. If customers are whining, errr I mean complaining, they have the right to toss you out.

The comments I heard was it smelled like an electrical fire. Tastes great but I guess doesn't smell all that good LOL

I have never had someone tell me my vapes stink. If they did, I would automatically think something was wrong with it and go get some juice from somewhere else! If ya want compliments.... go with the VaporCast Banana Nut bread! It smells and tastes so good, even the none smokers wanna taste it! Another idea would be to get some none flavored juice if people just don't wanna smell anything. That may work.
