Ody grips

Found the perfect thing for getting a grip on Ody pieces. The wife had some extra shelf liner so I cut a few strips and they work like a dream. They sell this stuff everywhere in the kitchen section of stores.

Yep, that's exactly what I use. Works great to get the lid off of jars too

I like to use rubber bands as they are the perfect size when trying to get 2 small rings apart that are against each other.
