Okay, I've watched the videos multi-times, and I cannot get my ody v2 to run. I did the first time and I messed with the connection and broke the nr wire. I have tried to assemble it 6 times. My husband came close to getting it running. He said when he loosened it from the pv it would fire, but if it was fully connected it would not. Any ideas? Suggestions?

If your Ody fires when it's partially unscrewed from your mod my guess from personal expirience might be that your center pin on your Ody might be extended to far. If its extended to far it can sometimes squish the 510 connection on your mod making it short out and not fire. When you partially unscrew it it relieves the tension and lets the connection ground properly again. Not saying 100% but try to get it so the Ody's center pin is just showing enought so it'll fire and no more than that. Keep us posted

i've experienced this aswell.

when the pin starts showing connect it to the pv and while connected fully start turning the rebuildable part a little bit a time until it fires. when it finally does, give it another third of a turn and let it be :)

Hi Tbrinkley everyone here is giving you some good advice. Today i did a video showing how to build a triple coil on Penelope which is no different on Odysseus. Its still processing on youtube once its done Ill post it on the GG forum. The video shows how to assemble a triple coil. In your case that's not what you want you just want to make it work with your single coil. The video will show how to connect the wick to assembly and to base. and all other pieces. Follow the video and let me know if you still have problems.

Ill link the video soon enough under the GG forum. stay tuned.

Im not sure which pv you are using but the best advice I can give you is to actually build the Odysseus on your PV. What I mean by that is put together your coil assembly and then screw the ceramic with coil assembled into the base while it's on your device. You'll feel the post of the Odysseus coming out of the bottom and making contact. Prime your wick a bit with some juice and see if it fires well. If it doesn't you can easily adjust at this point before installing the tank etc.

Hope that makes sense. I used to do this with a V1 ody on a ProVari otherwise I wouldn't get good airflow because it lacked the channels. It would be a good way to also test if your pin is out the right distance for the specific PV.

You guys have given some very good suggestions: make sure wick is on top of wire(is that on both channels?), to make sure the connector is not sticking out to far, and to assemble it on my pv. Thank you! I will keep you posted.
