Small Questions regarding Ody v2 short mode

OK lubed the hell out of everything. Gap is perfect now and mouthpiece turns easily(although I believe Penelope's mouthpiece is smoother). Filled it with boba's with triple wick and it is vaping perfectly mmmmm. Thanks a lot Imeo and fright.
Imeo one final question I noticed in zoranth's illustrations that when using ggts he is adding another 9x2 oring around the mouthpiece inside the refill big cap. Any reason for that? Maybe the rebuildable screws more inside the base and oring acts as early stopper?
The ring can be used as a stopper. The GGTS lacks a little podest that the 510 base has so you can unscrew the mouthpiece. I never used that O-Ring but it might help you in the beginning - later you will not need that for sure!

I can unscrew the mouthiece in my Ody when I use the GGTS base (I never do cause I don't open the LC too much) but it is possible. When one adds that O-Ring it stops the mouthpiece right before it gets unscrewed from the ceramic housing.
That does not happen with the 510 base because it is build a bit different, i.e. the ceramic housing comes up out of the base a bit more using the 510 base than with the GGTS base.
