Odysseus ceramics came broken?... HELP!!!

I received my 2 Odys last week and I finally got around to building em. They have the soap taste pretty bad and I was gonna
do the milk bath/baking soda etc. I'm pretty sure these aren't supposed to come out in 2 pieces.

Where can I get 2 new ceramic pieces for my Odys? I looked on Bruce's site but no dice.

Unfortunately you will have to wait until Imeo sends some to Bruce. Which won't be until Imeo himself get's them.

I did hot milk soak, then Vodka. Its now vaping bliss!

I vaped that bad taste away. I was at work when I made my first setup so I just vaped it away. It took me like 3 tanks and now it's ok, and I'm still here

....best advice yet on the ceramic issues. Clean in place and vape it while waiting for the replacements. It's gonna take a while for Imeo to get them and then get them to his resellers so a workaround is the only option.

Same here. Mine arrived broken but still useable. Definitely can't remove the ceramic, though. What I did was remove the o-rings and then soak that piece in isopropyl alcohol twice for about a half hour, with a thorough hot water rinse after each bath and then letting it air dry. This took care of the taste for me

Yeah, that's where I screwed up. My ceramic was broken when delivered also and I removed it from the metal cylinder to hopefully repair it (with super glue - bad idea). Anyhow, when I removed the ceramic it just came completely apart, crumbling into many pieces. So my Ody has been unusable since delivery and I'm impatiently waiting on replacement ceramics.

Do you have all the pieces? I've racked my brain trying to figure a way to reassemble it to make do until a replacement comes. The SG can be dissolved and epoxy, when totally cured is inert.....that might work.

I thought I was the exception. Thinking about beating up my mail man. So now I'm a little fuzzy as to why these things are arriving broken to so many people. Did I miss a stickie or something? You guys seem to know way more than I do about this. Has Imeo spoken about it? And if so, do we know when new ceramics are supposed to arrive?

Apparently the first batch of ceramics were outside the tolerance specified by Imeo so some are a very tight fit and were unknowingly cracked when fitted. The new ceramics aren't far off from what I understand.

I also received an Ody with broken ceramic. Im still able to use it, but hopefully we can get replacements ASAP.

One of mine was chipped and stuck fast but it still works fine, the other 2 are perfect

Just an update...
Bruce responded to my PM and said new ceramics are expected around the end of the month.
No word on cost, if any.
