I recently ordered a blu with a couple java jolt packs and was enjoying those until I only had a couple left. I ordered a couple flavors from gourmetvapors and they arrived today. I went for one of my old java cartos that's a couple days old and I vaped it until the flavor stopped and just a slightly singed taste came out. I figured it wouldn't be too bad to drop some seattle blend in it and give it a test run (maybe that was my mistake, not fully cleaning out the java jolt?) and it tastes pretty bad, still like that burning taste from before when it had just gone dry.

Should I be concerned that I'm burning polyfill or am I just a dunce for rushing it and not properly boiling the carto in water to clean it?

If you singe the stuffing in a carto by dragging on it when it is too dry, then that singed taste will probably stay there. You could try one of the cartomizer washing/cleaning methods (search Youtube) - people have variable results and the Blu cartos are probably too new for much info on cleaning them.

Check the Blu subforum on this board.

Singed taste probably will not go away....
The mix of the 2 juices may also not be a good mix.
I mix several of mine together but there are also ones that
I don't like mixed together.
I don't clean my cartos between juice changes.....most of the old goes away
pretty quick unless it is a strong flavor like cinnamon or clove.
You can also do a quick rinse with Everclear alochol (the kind you drink) and I
usually don't let it dry that long after that.
To dry, I sometimes lay the carto by the fan vent on my computer and that
helps dry it out quicker and the carto does not have to suffer from any
extreme heat.
Good luck to you and hope the taste gets better. It's all a little trial and error
at first, but you'll learn quick.
