Well, I got my first device yesterday, a Riva 510. Seems to work well. Problem arose 5 hrs. into it- I can't the taste/smell of the base liquid. I've tried 3 flavors/nic. levels and don't like any of them. I really want this to work!!!! All my juices are PG from LF.

Do I simply go to VG?

    Do I switch suppliers?

Can I mix the minty stuff I have with food flavoring to overwhelm the base?

I have no need, and cannot afford to be chasing down the perfect juice. I'd be happy with something like a tic-tac mint

    Gratefully yours-Bob

Mints are actually hard to get right, since the flavor compound is an oil. If you have PURE flavoring (not alcohol-based extracts, like you get at the grocery) you could make it a chocolate mint or something. But it is rare that one finds their perfect all-day juice in the first few takes.

I don't know who LF is.

I personally do not like the taste of PG. It is flowery to me. I vape only VG juices, but the reason is because of chronic dry mouth and throat I get with PG, not the taste. You might try other vendors, of course, or a different blend of PG and/or VG. VG will be a bit sweeter, moister, and can mute the flavors and throat hit compared to PG.

Tic tac mint is peppermint. You might post in general discussion to see if someone sells a good tic tac mint juice. I like Vermont Vapor's Cool Mint VG juice. Good with chocolate too. Has a little menthol in it, so not exactly like a tic tac.

I recommend finding someone that sells in 3 mL samples, and get several. Unfortunately, like with food, you have to try it before you know you like it!
