We've always had Pit Bulls. 30 years ago, I got my first Pit for my 7th birthday and haven't looked back!

Here we have the Bostons, Spike and Buddy. We had gotten Spike as a little brother for our old Pit, Pauly. But when Pauly died, little Spike was lost. So in comes Buddy (the black one).

Buddy was an adoption through a friend of ours in PA. He started life as an Amish stud dog in a puppy mill. Then he went through 5 homes before coming to us (which is now his permanent residence). The last home he was in, the woman from the rescue found his owners trying to sell him on Cragslist, even though they had a contract with her to return him to her. She confiscated him from them.

We adopted Morticia back in March at 8 weeks old from a local Pit Bull rescue. We had the two Bostons, but we needed to have a Pit Bull in the house. It just didn't feel right without one after our 14 year old died the previous summer. She absolutely adores buddy.

PS, they do still find ways to fit in that bed together even though Morticia is now 48lbs (and starting to get her cheeks!).

I had a pet squirrel that hung out by our pool area all year - 'bout the friendliest squirrel I've ever seen. Unfortunately, he got into my black walnuts that I harvested and set out to dry once to often. Although he paid the ultimate price for messing with my nuts, i did manage to put him to good use.

That's one monster sized squirrel!

This is Taz & Jackson. They are English Mastiffs. Both came from a local Mastiff Rescue.

Taz (the brindle female) was taken from a backyard breeder. She is 10 years old and we have had her for almost two years. She weighs in at about 142 lbs

Jackson (tawny male) was removed from the owners backyard after a neighbor noticed that he had been locked out there with no food for several days. When he came to us he was heart worm positive, but is now a very healthy, active 3 year old. He weighs in at 160 lbs

On edit - I can't seem to get the picture to show in the post. If you right click it and choose show picture in separate tab it will take you to the photo.....

I can't see an image to click on. I want to see the puppies too!!!!! How can I view them????

Rescue dogs are the best. It's really hard to find an English Bulldog rescue group anywhere near me but Chicago has a fabulous rescue group. Hope I get to see your babies and thanks for giving them such a wonderful home!!!!
