In September '12, I purchased the 158 HG-1412W Battery Charger. Now this damn thing has fried all my batteries!! At first I thought the batteries had simply used up their lifespan, but I discovered last night that is was the charger. So now I've got 4 dead batteries!! Obviously it took me awhile to realize it was the charger and not the batteries. Has anyone else experienced this? Now I've got to order another charger and hope I don't waste my money again!!

That charger is no longer a part of our inventory, Seems most people where charging there battery's on wrong setting of switch, but I4 and I2 solve this an are best chargers you can buy.

Thanks for the reply Andrew. I always made sure the setting was correct. The problem is all 4 of my efest batteries are dead! I rotate 3 batteries during the day and after these died, I pulled out a 4th one that I had set aside and charged it. Obviously this was before I knew it was the charger causing the problems thinking my batteries had reached their lifespan. Needless to say, the 4th one which I had never used before was dead as well. That's when I realized it was the freaking charger. Fortunately, I still had the charger and 2 batteries from my original 14650 e-power kit so that's what I'm using now even though these batteries are weaker due to lifespan.

To be honest I was never impressed with the Efest because they were hit and miss on holding a charge. So I'm really at a loss now because I thought I was buying good and recommended products before! So if you have anything that you have been carrying for awhile that seems to last and that other people have had good experiences with for awhile, I'd like to hear about it. Thanks again!

You remember your order number or email used, I'll credit you back for charger and 2 battery's, E-fest are to only ones I use they are just as good if not better then AW on high output devices.

Thank you sooo much for understanding my frustration with this. My order #20597 is when I ordered the charger and some Efest batteries. With order #25852 I ordered some more Efests because I put a couple of them in upside-down in my tube and fried them! I've remedied that from happening again! Doggone flat-tops!!! Thanks again for understanding and helping me out with this!

Thanks again Andrew for helping me out with this. I got the info you sent me and have placed a new order. You said that you always used the efests so now I'm wondering if my charger was the problem all along. I would get maybe 1 hour out of a charge and then later, get 4-5 hours. Go figure! Thanks again and may the battery-charger gods smile upon you!!

I am trying to find out where my order is. I have been trying to for quite some time. I have called the phone number listed on the CVV site several times and also sent emails and filled out the comment section under my account. One time I did receive a reply and I thought the issue was resolved but I still have not received my order. Could someone help me with this? It was a purchase made on Oct 18. The PO received an electronic confirmation on Oct 25. It is Order number 31957. Thank You. Elizabeth Holman
