What is the issue?? The only issue I have with mine is that you can fire it at what seems like very low voltage after it has been powered off. I heard a rumor of a recall or problem yesterday actually. Should I be concerned with mine? Will we be able to return the 1.5 for a version 2?

Thats cause you pushed power button 6 times not 5,,,if you push 5 turns off but if you push it again it goes into that low voltage mode just bug in chipset design,,,no big deal, trying to get all people purchased a v1.5 a version 2,,, the issue is very serious,,,tube left sitting on table just shorts out tube and carto so hot can't touch it smoke starts rolling out from inside the tube, mine did it yesterday, i immediately pulled them from site,,,, now most work great but few is to many in my book.

Holy crap! That doesn't sound good at all. Glad you're ok. Keep us posted.

LOL... I heard about the same elsewhere. Do they vape the same as they did? Gone through about 200 resurrectors from CCV and not a single problem once... Just want to make sure they're the same quality.
Only difference I've heard discussed is they seem to be a slighty tighter draw... apparently they're easily fixed with a tiny dremel tip tap at the crevice along the bottom of the 510 connector.. that straight line down there? I haven't needed to do mine, but some people are making that divot a tiny bit deeper for more airflow. Again, still the best out there. And if I might suggest... CCV has jumbo ones now! Huge! Also the boge sized juniors. I was always a 'bigger is better' girl, but I'm finding I like some juices better in the smaller ones. So you might want to try a few in different sizes, esp if you do giant 'stock up' orders. ;)

That is a wonderful mindset for a vape vendor to have, imo. Nice to know you're getting the v2s!

I tried the dremel on the bad batch I got, but it didn't help. Some folks were also complaining about an immediate burnt taste as well. I guess it's hit and miss with them, but I can't afford to lose any additional money so I use the Boges now.

So glad I ordered mine from you guys. It's always nice to order from a vendor who cares about their clients and who stands behind their products... I did send a message on your site, with my order info, as I was wondering if mine may be affected by this problem and if you recommend we stop using them altogether or just remove the battery when not in use or at arms reach in case something happens...

Thanks again for being an awesome vendor!

I swear to you... i've been using resurrectors all but exclusively for the last year or so, and I vape myself halfway to a blissed out coma most days. lol I've literally NEVER gotten a burned taste that I wasn't responsible for. I'll explain... they really do like to be kept wet. BUT if you keep them wet, they last AGES. I have resurrectors that have been going for 3 mos, and have been cleaned 3x (learning to completely replace the filler now, just to save myself on cleaning em)... and still going! I used boge for about the year before that, and I had a ton of them die around the month mark. For my 'maintenance habits' at least, the resurrectors last way longer. Again, that's just my experience, so of course you may have a different one. But the key to it... no condom fills or syringe fills. I use the Taryn spin method to fill the first time, usually takes 3 spin cycles of about 10drops each to fill a regular sized (ie dual coil carto sized) resurrector. Then, I top them off well before it seems like they need it. So for regular (xl equivalent) sized ones, top off about every hour and a half, just a few drops right on filler. For Junior, little less, and super shorty (ccv doesn't have these yet, but mentioning it cause I know a lot of people here like em) even shorter still, about the hour point. If you have a little bottle, takes all of 30 seconds to take off drip tip, top off with 3-5 drops (filler should look like a slushy, and not soak in immediately). Anyway, that's my secret to getting these things to last for danged ever. lol Oh, and I don't boil em to clean. Use the powerflush method with baking soda, white vinegar, and if its a strong or stinky juice, I'll soak in water with a little lemon juice for a few hours... rinse like mad. Reverse spin to get out all extra water from filler. In a day or two, filler is dry as a bone and like new. No lie... its been MONTHS.. literally, since I've had a single one die on me. ;) And only time I do taryn spin is on first fillup, unless I vape it drier than usual... then I'll start again with taryn spin. Has something to do with every fiber being saturated with juice. I've tried condom method or syringe and letting is sit for 30 mins to soak in... Certainly works, but the lifespan is way way reduced, and get the odd scratchy hit once in a while. So anyway, that's my secret, and I'll keep buying these puppies as long as CCV keeps selling em! lol

Oh dear.. well, the good news is looks like you're getting a replacement of an even newer better model... don't have any specifics, though... might want to read back a few pages to find out the details. ;) Good luck! I know that's a bummer, just had something similar happen with 2 new units myself, different pvs, though.

so i just got the 1.5 today is there a recall?ya wierd it does fire when powered off but if you undo bat and put it back in it stops .

Both of mine have fired in my bag several times after I thought I figured it out. Now I carry the batteries separately. A hassle, to be sure, but at least it's safe.

Wow. I thought my 1.5 was fine until I tried to make it go wonky. 5 clicks off and either the + or - puts it into this funky mode. But only if the press is immediately after the 5 clicks. I will be careful and watch for any new info.

Hey Commander, if it isn't a PITA, might be a good idea to shoot out an email to any customers who may have bought the V1.5. Just a suggestion.

Just placed order for black silver and chrome VMAX'S, These are the ones with redesigned PCB start out at 3.0 volts also allow you to turn off the display, going to do some sorta bundles with AW battery's and choice of hv cartos.

Wondering when you will have these available. Didnt know they had a chrome version out yet! So i guess you will carry all three color choices? Do you know if they have a blue LED option? Think i saw a pic of a pre-release chrome blue LED.

Just woke up, padded downstairs, and picked up both of my units that I turned off last night with a precise five clicks. Both fired.

It used to be that I had to use specific button pushes to enable Zombie Mode (power+plus). Now it is completely random. Batteries out for safety when not in use. :)

Mine does this also. Will you be sending emails out to those of us who have already purchased the 1.5 version, informing us of the issue and instructions for getting a replacement, or are we just supposed to send them back. I no longer have the envelope my tube came in, I didn't order the whole kit. I don't even think I have the receipt anymore, just the order info in my account at your website. I quit using mine as of yesterday as soon as I read your post.

Do those of us who purchased a V1.5 need to do anything active to participate in the recall/exchange for a V2? I did send a message to customer service through the CCV site with my name, address, date of purchase, and order #, just to be sure.
