Hey Levi! whats up Bro? ....I got mine at Lowes in the plumbing section 1/4" self tapping saddle valve......I punch 2 holes in all of mine...1 on either side.
I only do 1 punched hole, or they flood the carto. I use 70/30 PG/VG. I am sure it makes a difference if you use mostly VG because it is very thick and doesn't wick as well with all VG.

I use 70/30 bwb in 1 tank and have never had a problem...some juices vary I quess. I had a problem when I first started using tanks and saw someone recommend 2 holes so I punched all that I had with 2 holes and never looked back, been doing great ever since.

Hey Andrew,

It's been a while since I've been around these parts. I sent a support ticket via your website, but, I also wanted to ask here.

I just purchased a 3.5ml tank and a 5-pack of pre-punched resurrector cartos and I've an issue. I think the hole may be too small (because my juice is too thick). I use 100%vg juice, because I am pg sensitive. I've no tools, aside of a hammer (which, by the way, I tried to hammer a nail into the hole of the carto that came with the tank to try and enlarge the hole. But, it failed. It just dented the carto.)

Just wondering if there was anything else I could try to help the juice wick? Perhaps any tricks of the trade (I've been gone a while, and this is my first tank setup).

Anyways, thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. And also, thank you for the super fast shipping.

Much love,

Adam

Adam, did you fill the carto the conventional way prior to inserting it into the tank? The poly fill must be primed (already wet) before you load up the tank.

I use 50/50 juice and don't have a problem. I did slit the carto however. The next one will be saddle valve punched.

the pre-punched hole is def too small for high VG juices. I use an 80/20 juice that feeds fine with the small pre-punched hole, but anything thicker will prob cause some problems. I have a second tank that I use Bobas Bounty in, which is 100%VG, and it feeds juice to the carto perfectly, without having to dilute the juice at all. What I do is put the carto in a vice so it doesnt move, then using a hammer and finishing nail, gently make the pre-punched hole bigger until its just about the diameter of the finishing nail (about 4x as big as the pre-punched hole). Then I punch a second hole on the opposite side and make it the same size. With the much bigger holes, and also 2 holes instead of one, a 100%VG juice like Bobas Bounty can feed into a carto with no problems, without needing to be diluted.

Always remember too, when using any tank, and especially when your using a thick juice in a tank, you need to periodically take some dry pulls to help feed more juice to the carto. High VG juices like Bobas Bounty, normally need some extra help to continually keep the carto saturated. I periodically take 3-5 short hard pulls without pushing the button, and that will force more juice into the carto. If you dont see little air bubbles come out of holes when ypu do do pulls, then theres a good chance the hole or holes need to be bigger. With my 80/20 juice with the small pre-punched hole, I get lots of little airbubbles when I do dry pulls, but with a thick 100% juice, I get one big air bubble with each dry pull.

Okay, I see what you guys are saying.

I did pre-soak the carto before using it in the tank. I used a syringe and soaked it thoroughly. In fact, I thought the tank was working for a while, but in fact, it was just that the carto was filled.

I will have to post pics, but before I do let me ask, if I added a hole, (a MUCH larger hole than the original), and it's positioned slightly above the other (on the opposite side, of course) will this make a difference as to why liquid isn't coming in?

At this point, the carto I am using has a total of 3 holes. The original small one, a much larger one, and one medium size close to the large one. I also diluted some juice (and it is noticeably thinner) with some Vodka and still, no dice. (I diluted it as so ~0.5ml vodka to ~4.5-5ml 100%vg juice), so I'm running an approximate 10% dilute in the juice, with 3 holes of all sizes and still no dice.

My next experiment will be to try a new carto from the pack, or, I am going to try and punch holes all the way around the carto (nothing really left to lose with this carto anyways).

I will (and believe have tried) to dry pull here after lunch. And once again, I thank you all for your help and suggestions.

I cant stress the importance of the dry pulls enough. l feel that most people always just focus on the size of the holes, but I think that the dry pulls are the single most important factor for making/keeping a tank working correctly. This is even more important when using thicker juices. What Ive noticed with using Bobas Bounty in my 3.5ml tank, even with the much bigger holes, the air pressure alone is not enough to feed the amount of juice needed to keep the carto wet. With thinner, high PG juices the air pressure by itself feeds alot more than a thick VG juice, so thats why the dry pulls are even more important. Ive noticed with my tank, even with the much bigger holes and 2 instead of one, the tank feeds very little juice to the carto on its own. Its the dry pulls I do throughout the day that feed the carto the juice it needs to stay wet.
Try doing 4-5 very hard pulls. If the carto isnt full/being fed enough juice, you should get a single fairly big air bubble come out with each pull. I keep doing hard dry pulls until the air bubbles stop and then I know that the carto is wet again

How are you folks putting holes in you carto's. I use a saddle valve and it works very well to punch a hole in the carto. Like I said above, one hole is all I ever use with a 70pg-30vg E-juice. And it wicks good all the time. When I put in a new Resurrector or Boge I do a few false puffs and look for the air bubbles then let it set for 10 minutes and its ready to go. Sometimes I don't see air bubbles if I let it set for awhile before I do the false puffs, and I just try it out and If it works your in business, if not then take a few false puffs and try it again. If I ever have the carto not giving good vapor, I run a straightened paper clip though it and spin the carto to make sure I have a good air path, and hold it up to light so I can see light through it.

I've used a saddle valve on some and I've also cut a slit with the dremel on some. One hole only and they always worked great :)
The dremel does work good but I have to go out to the garage to use it, so I just use he saddle valve because it doesn't take up much room, I keep it in a drawer and use it here in my little office. One hole works for me, two holes and it floods.

Yep, this did the trick.

I emptied the diluted juice into a separate bottle and started anew with some non-tampered juice and dry pulling works fantastic. I actually overpulled in the car and made a little mess, but, I think I've the hang of it now.

Thank you guys for the help!

What is the difference between the ccv LR dual coil 1.25 om cartos,(bought them from maximum) and a LR dual coil Ressurector carto? Does it have to do with the filler material or what? Never tried these but I know there has been lots of chatter bout them. Didn't know u guys carried them, but was checking your site out and thought I would ask. Free shipping? Really? Wow! Thanks!

Went to place an order tonight and I keep getting "The item "15 C.C.V. Mega LR 1.7 (THE RESURRECTOR)" could not be added to your order. It's not currently available with the options you selected." Are you out of the SS 15 cart deal?

Thanks in advance

On the front page it states they have specific hours they have the site open for business now to keep up with the shipped within 24 hours goal. I ordered this week and received it two days later- love the new system Andrew.

The Resurrectors single coil are for 3.7 devices to simulate a 5 volt vaping experience. The dual coils can safely be used at higher voltages or with a VV mod that is set above 3.7.
