The only time you really need to use an unsealed would be if you are using it on a bottom feeder. For example, I have a wood bottom feeder with no catch cup, so I got a drip shield to use with an atty on it. Had to use a 510-510 shorty for atty to fit in drip shield, but had to make sure to get unsealed so juice could pass.

Hey cmdr, when are the eFest 18650's gonna be in? Just 'excused' myself from a co-op in its final stages, so I will be in the market.

End this month....they had a batch she said they didn't meet quality control standards, she told me they don't rush battery's out the door ,,to dangerous,,,, I had to check my connection make sure i was chatting with someone in china, talking bout quality control...lol

China? Quality control? Well... I guess there is a first time for everything!

And thanks guys thats just the kind of info I was looking for. Do you guys recommend drip shields? Ive never used one when dripping. Not even sure of CCV carries them. My vmax has a drip well. I figured that would suffice with just a 510 to 510.

You guys have to remember that iPads and iPhones are also made in China. The Chinese are as capable of QC as anyone else. It's all what the person contracting the manufacture wants to pay for.

And BTW, just got my chrome L Tube today, and am loving it! It has a really nice heft to it that makes me almost think it may be chrome plated steel rather than aluminum or copper. Had a hard time getting it turned on the first time, but now it's working great. Really nice device.

Just got my chrome v2 today, and all I have to say is thank you CCV and Andrew... This thing feels so much better and sturdier then the v1.5. I'm pretty impressed so far at the improvement for the fit and finish of this device. The chrome is chipping a little bit on the buttons, but that's the only negative thing and I don't even care, as everything else on this thing is better! The buttons feel a lot more solid then before anyway. It's definitely not a POS device, and in my opinoin it's worthy of being on your site for sure!!

Just got my box of 5 Resurrectors today. Just looking at them visually, I can see no difference in these and the order I got in March. Three of the 5 metered 1.7Ω, and two metered 1.6Ω. The groove accross the ctr pin looked to be the same depth, and the ctr pin well centered. No strange smell from the filler. I realize that this is a very small sample, but I'll order more as it looks like they are good.

I'm thinking about getting a tank from CCV. I have ordered from them once before (boge Carts), and didnt have any problems with them. I usually vape stardusts, but i m kinda sick with the burning taste just after a couple of refills, cleaning, and tilting them....etc. So I have decided to get a tank, but what carto's work best in them? I saw that The ressurectors had good reviews. I just want to get some carts for a tank that for the most part, wont give me any problems. I have 2 ego twist's, and I usually vape 70/30 vg. Is that a good ratio for them, for a good wick and vape? If not, whats a good ratio of liquid to use, and carts to buy from them?

thanks in advance for some advice :)

Tanks can be great once you get them set up Chris. The juice ratio should be fine overall, and you may find you like the standard DC flanged that comes with it. The problem with ordering non-flanged cartos is that they will have to be punched or slotted. I use slotted Boge cartos in my short tanks and they do great. I'm guessing the Ressurectors would do awesome in a tank as well once prepped.

Problem. Just recieved my v2 today. Popped in a charged IMR (the CCV one), flashes a couple of times and that's it. Held the power for 5 seconds, nothing. Suggestions?

I'm thinking batteries

Thanks in advance.

Have to push on/off switch 5 times real fast, unit will turn on

Hey Andrew, any chance I could trade in my chrome lavatube for a new one even though I bought it elsewhere? I ordered it about 3 weeks ago just before I started reading this thread... Not sure if you're able to return them yourself or not?

I just checked your previous forum posts, and it looks like you ordered yours from apollo which mean it's a L-Rider tube, and not a Uniq/Young June tube... So different manufacturers...
