Use any adapter you like but I'd do it soon while you still have threads to hold it in. At this point the only reason for an adapter is to protect whatever threads you have left. It will have no effect on your vaping except to make sure you can continue vaping with that particular PV. :) I'll PM you the repair instructions for when they really get bad tomorrow.

Errol

Thanks! I'll order one soon.

If a certain other company doesn't release a certain other product that I've been waiting on all week ( in my head they've got about 2 more hours-time zone difference :) ) I'm going to order the ss vmax from CCV , Only question is what's the difference between the trust fire charger and the ultra fire? The trust fire is out of stock, but they are virtually the same price ( am I just "wanting" the trust fire because it's not available? ) lmao

Has anyone purchased the vv 18650 gripper? Just looking for feedback...

I have one. It works really well, small that fits into the palm of your hand, and the LED lights are clear and easily readable. The only quirky thing that I've encountered is the firing button. I found that the longer I've used it, the more finicky it gets and the harder I have to push it to work. It may just be mine though. It's a righty though, so if you're a lefty it may feel weird, but I've had no problems using it in either hand. I feel, though, comparing this one to the V2 Lavatube from CCV that the voltage feels a bit higher on the VV gripper on the same setting as the V2 Lavatube (but I don't own a voltage meter to test this). I hope this helps.

Good chance! :) They will both do the job for you though the TrustFire TR-003P4 is a nicer looking unit and will handle four batteries for the same price. I have a two battery Trustfire that has served me well for over a year so I feel comfortable with the brand.

There has been a great deal said about the intellicharge i4 that will also charge all of your household batteries. According to Andrew the HG-1412W Lithium Ion Battery Charger will do pretty much everything the i4 will do, just not quite as intelligently, but at less than 1/2 the price I felt comfortable ordering it due to the fact it will charge every battery I have in the house, obviously that one is my choice for $16. :)

Hey Andrew, I just got my order of mini resurrectors. Let me just say that these things BLOW BIG TIME..............CLOUDS OF VAPOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's like deja vu, all over again. :vapor:To my taste buds it's like dripping again, without the 4 or 5 hit refilling. That's just my initial opinion. :vapor:
Big batt mods might have their place, but, with the combo of a mini ego batt and mini resurrector, I have achieved Nirvana.

Thanks again Pal!!!!!

Is the Gripper VV made so that if you put a RBA that the ohms are too low on, it will switch a safety feature and not fry the unit?

Yes. Below 1.2ohms.

It'll display "Lo Ω" or "Lo v" on the LCD when you try to fire it.

Placed a order the other day for a CCV Chrome V2 VV Tube (Young June) because of PBusardo review, and a whole bunch of other stuff. I think a VV Gripper will be in the near future for me once I pay the CC bill for this. By then I hope the new 2 hole tank carts are in. Will be a good use of my reward points!! Seems like every time I punch a cart I screw something up. Yes I have watched many videos on how to do it. Next I am going to try to slot one. I'm pretty handy with a Dremel so I have faith it won't be a problem. But I did have a question for those of you who slot. Do you slot where the hole is or do you add a slot on the other side so you have a slot and a hole? I was thinking about this and thought that would work well. The juice I have been using is fairly thin, but the couple carts I do have that have 2 holes(stock) work fine until I get into some hard chain vapeing. And I fear that if i slot both sides it may flood.

Thanks again CCV for the awesome prices and quick shipping. I ordered Monday and might see it tomorrow, but I think it will be here Thursday and thanks for any help.

I usually slot where the hole is. It takes a bit of tinkering to get the slot a near-perfect size, but it isn't too bad. I actually have some I slotted that I use only for thicker juices since I went a bit too far.

Also, not sure if you have read this, after you slot hold the cutting bit at an angle to knock off the harsh edges a bit. Makes the slot slide pass the o-ring a bit easier and without cutting it up so much. I usually take a piece of emery cloth and clean it all up afterwards as well, but you could probably skip that step as long as you don't go hog-crazy with the dremel!

Thanks for the info.

Yeah i work with metal for a living so knocking down the burr is something i knew and understand

Also I spent ALOT of time in the tournament paintball world. Along with working on(airsmithing) paintball guns and such for many years. So I understand the need to get a part past a o-ring without it getting cut. But either way thank you very much for the help!!
