I tend to have thicker juices, Black & Mild from CCV being pretty darn thick after sitting in the tank through some vaping, so I tend to put in two slots, have even done three slots before and flooding is not really an issue as long as you don't suck super hard trying to get it to flow more. Two slots for thicker juices is just right it seems.

Thanks for the info.

Yeah i work with metal for a living so knocking down the burr is something i knew and understand

Also I spent ALOT of time in the tournament paintball world. Along with working on(airsmithing) paintball guns and such for many years. So I understand the need to get a part past a o-ring without it getting cut. But either way thank you very much for the help!!

No problem. I wish there was a place where we could see what profession other posters held; you never know if you are giving needed advice or just preaching to the choir!

Man, I haven't messed with paintballing in years. Back when I was in late elementary/early jr. high, one of my buddies' dad was the first person to really get PB going in the St. Louis area. We used to fill the ball tubes by hand, paint and assemble the masks, and go to help out (and often participate) in matches. Had a blast, especially when we would go out with a group of military guys and waste them, and made enough money to support my baseball card habit at the time.

Yep. Same stories here. We would always get the military guys thinking they would whoop us. Yeah prolly not. One thing with their training. They are trained that you get shot you are dead. Us on the other hand didn't mind getting shot. Lol. Really miss those days.

Will my Panasonic CGR18650C's with 1600mah work correctly with a VV Gripper?

Not just fitting, but will the non-IMR work like it should?

should work if they fit, I just steering away from icr battery's, will be strickly IMR when the stock of ICR's runs out. I would only use IMR in that device like the CGR18650CH 2250 i have on my battery site.

Bushwackers, wacky Warriors or that group in IL? I used to play a lot bonding with my son about 15 years ago until it wasn't cool to be seen with dad.

Just ordered some cartos (obligatory CCV content)

Wacky Warriors was the one. I know my buddies' oldest brother took over the fields and the dad ran the distribution for a while. I have no idea what has happened to them since, it has been a long time since I talked to him or went out ballin'!

Still loving the i4 BTW. Great charger. Highly recommended.

Hi Salky, Just bought the plastic i4 clone from CCV and it seems to do a pretty good job but I noticed it getting pretty warm after about 35 min. Is this unique to the clone or does your get warm pretty fast. Also mine won't charge AAA Lithium batteries, will charge all other AAA just not lithium. Have you tried 1.2v Ni-MH batteries on yours?

Mine never gets very hot, even when I have it loaded up. It does fine on all my Nimh batteries (except the 4.8v) as well.

Could be a connection issue, or maybe it has to be configured a certain way, like the i4 has to for the small litiums. Call Andrew up and he'd be more than happy to help you out.

yours will charge them just fine have select it from switch,,, I4 does it automatically, I know your not trying to charge a non-rechargeable battery.

I never heard of Wacky Warriors, but Bushwackers has been a huge name in professional paintball for many many many years!! Huge legacy behind that name. with-in about the last 10 years though the Bushwackers kind of fell off. Still around but i believe they dropped down from Pro to semi-pro. Maybe even lower. All this paintball talk has got me itching to go play. but now i am to fat, slow and too old to keep up with the kids i used to play with. But it was kind of random that they called me to see if I would coach them the other day. something i have to seriously think about! just was weird cause i hadent even thought about paintball much until this thread. Then i get that call. Weird how things work.

back on CCV topic: Yesterday i received my first order from here. Got the CCV V2 VV Chrome Tube(young june) some efast IMR batteries, a i4 charger. and a bunch of other stuff. Really love the tube. my first VV device and it changed how i think about vaping!! Also once the efast batteries were finally charged up i threw one of them in and wow, even better! So happy with everything. The charger is so nice too. just throw the batteries in and let them go. Love it! Then last night i decided to place another order...lol. Got some Efast IMR 18500 batteries and a few odds and ends. Had to spend the gift certificate from my rewards points!!!

DJ, CCV is an excellent vendor, as you will fully discover. The eFests are my new face battery, and the i4 was an excellent choice in a charger. What are you going to use the 18500's in?

Yeah Wacky Warriors was one of the first in the area, I want to say they started around 85 or earlier. I work with a guy that still plays, and everytime he starts talking about it I want to get a group together for an afternoon. Maybe someday I actually will!

Can you refill DCT tanks by just pulling the drip tip and filling the carto as you would usually? I ask since i read that the wear and tear of constantly opening up a tank eventually leads to leaks. Also, what leaks? the orings?

To fill a carto tank, you have to actually pull the cartomizer part of the way out of the tank. If you fill from the carto, it'll just fill itself up until it leaks out of the battery connection, and the tank itself won't get any more juice. True, opening a tank will lead to wear and tear on the o-rings, but there's kind of no other way to do it (unless you have a tank with a thumbscrew/fill hole on the side of the tank). O-rings are pretty darn cheap, though, so they're easy to stock up on. :)
