Thanks for the reply. Will the SS vmax model be different than say the gun metal or any of the other colors or will they all be the same. I am planning on ordering one from you. Do I need also to buy the magnets for the batteries or will they be button top batteries.

When I say different I am not talking about the colors, Thought I might better put that in, don't want to come across as a complete idiot. I am talking about the internal electronics.
As of now nothing internally has changed in the VMAX since the V2 release.
- New button thats solid like a rock....no rattle...no wiggle....perfect feel
- 3 volt startup
- more accurate voltage settings (although I feel very little difference)
- The red number display can be turned off when firing.
As of now any changes are pretty much aesthetics.

Darn it! Just found out about the sale after i placed my order Saturday. Oh well, I checked in to ask the resistance of the Fusions but it was already answered. I'm looking forward to giving them a try.

Saw a few pages back the pictures of the gripper, Are those coming in on this order also? Does the gripper take an 18650 battery or 18350's. I might try the gripper also.
Hey cmdr, thanks for the sale. Had to pick up a few more eFests for the Vmax. Any updates on the 18650s?
If you just buy vmax i send with nipple tops, but if you buy extra set of battery's i send a set of flat tops(I include an earth magnet) along with nipple tops, reason behind this most people don't know you should never mix up battery's, this way got set of each, hard to mix that way, sure there are those that will, but I think this was a good idea, if you order 2 extra sets you'll get 2 sets of nipple tops and 1 set flats with earth magnet. Hope this clarifies this.
Ordering 18650 2000mah efest nipple tops tonight, but the IMR 18650 nipple tops we got now aren't no slouch by a long shot, that actually last bout same as my AW 2000 mah, maybe a tad longer.
Yea that clears it up. I am just waiting on your order. I always mark my batteries with masking tape so to keep them paired up. That is really a good idea though so people won't mix them up. Could I request all nipple tops?

Been using my VMax for a few weeks now, and loving it until I ran into a problem the other day (Friday). It was in my pocket during a movie, and when I got out, it was no longer working.
When I connect any 510 cartos (tank, resurrector, Boge), and press the button, it doesn't activate. I get the blue button as if it's firing, but no connection, vapor, etc. The only thing I can think of is that the tank I had connected did something to the threading - when I got the tank (pic attached) off it seemed like there was almost an extra part on the bottom of the carto threading.
There were no drops or anything before this happened.
Any thoughts? Am I screwed? Bummed out....
Using a Chibi tank mod with Boge 3.0s when it happened. Also attaching a photo of the VMAX and the threading, although it doesn't show very well.

For all those trying to claim I'm shipping fake boges,just cause the condoms aren't like you remember them or the quality seems less then stellar, believe me I order 10's of thousands of cartos a month from from both smoctech and boge, You can bet the farm on this that they are the genuine article from these 2 company's.
On a side note about the resent quality issues from both company's, I think issue stems from bad batch of nichrome wire, sure both company's get it from same place, only thing explain the harsh, lack of flavor, dry hit, burning taste, seems to have affected both company's at same time, because I don't believe it's a coincidence that both company having same exact manufacturing issues, because from taring them apart and comparing a good one from a batch many months ago to a carto from recent order there are identical inside each part inside is same distance from each other so, only logical thing makes sense is a bad batch of nichrome.

Shame on anyone claiming that. It is WIDELY known that Boge cartos used to come with one long, and one short condom that fit very tightly, and Boge has now switched to two short, loose fitting condoms. Anyone who has said or implied that owes Andrew an apology.
But don't believe me:
From what I read in a letter from Boge, posted in another forum, Boge ran out of the long and short condoms, and couldn't get more, so they had to get subistutes temporarily. They also claimed they haven't changed anything, so Andrews idea of a bad batch of wire may be the culprit.

i just recently ordered 15 of the 3ohm smoktech tank cartos and i had to turn the wattage on my kick down to get rid of the nasty, burning flavor. i noticed the problem on the first one i used, and i still have 14 to get through.
the nichrome wire sounds very plausable. i hope they find and fix the problem soon.
