On the weather side, so far we've got about 12 to 14", gusts up to 49 mph so far, but now they say the winds are about to begin increasing...

Can't even see my back steps at all.

Sounds like you got a dry fluffy snow then... The radar detected rainfall would have been just under a 1/2" ( and it's usually pretty close even if it's not right on the money, at least it is off of the radar site by me ).

Don't hurt yourself when you get around to cleaning up after it ( if you even try )...

We've had plenty of single digit to low double digit weather lately but we've been lucky to not get much moisture with it. In fact, I don't think I remember my heaters even turning off in the last week or so... Today ( and yesterday also ), we've had a break and have gotten over the freezing mark after the sun got up.. currently we're in the mid-40's....
