Well, our 3rd nor'easter in 11 days is coming to an end. I've had knots in my stomach for 2 weeks now. AND...apparently we may be getting yet another 2 day storm Tuesday into Wednesday...

But...I'm feeling pretty happy (and lucky) right now. Most of the state got about 10-18", and some areas over two feet. I'm amazed to say that the New Haven area got away with only about 1-3"!! I didn't even shovel, end of our driveway has melted and only had to sweep (not shovel) our front & back stairs. I feel bad for the rest of the folks here in CT (Yimmie got hammered), but I have to admit I'm feeling pretty good for us right about now:)

Rd, that map you posted this morning? See the two dark blue bands there? Well, New Haven kept just about in the middle of them for most of the storm. What a great nice surprise.

Good to hear.

I kept an eye on what was going on most of the evening yesterday and it didn't look like you were getting a lot but when I looked at some of the metar reports around you, several were saying moderate to heavy snowfall once it'd switched from rain to snow. In addition, many NWS radar sites now no longer update the "storm total rainfall" data... so all I can look at are "one hour totals" ... makes it hard to even estimate anything ( and they are still just estimates )...
