Well, we are now officially in New Haven Fireworks Season. Yayyyyyy!
Big ones too. And it's only June 16th.
Cops do nothing to stop it, cause we are in deep doo-doo finance wise. They MIGHT respond to a murder, if someone's available. No tree cutting, lot cleanup, park maintenance either.
And this...wait for it...after our esteemed Mayor got herself re-elected (no help from me), promptly gave herself a 12K raise, a week ago gave homeowners an 11% tax increase, and 3 days ago gave raises to over 30 of her administration. Nice stuff.
Meanwhile, Mya's gotta go through this crap again.
