I know we have one or two flashlight aficionado's around here.

So I just gotta say this just came in today, and granted I only rode with it around the block a couple times but HOLEY MOLEY does this puppy throw some light.

so not much more I can say about it now

COUNTDOWN 1600

it arrived 0% yes zero percent charged so I gave it a full charge, then strapped it to the old bike (now the road bike) and took two laps around the block. I was scared I was gonna P-OFF the neighbors for shinning such a bright light into their houses.

you can set it to 4 different solid light intensities and 2 flash modes.

it has a display that tells you what mode you're in and a numerical read out of minutes remaining as well as a bar gauge of power remaining.

during charging it also gives numerical and progress bar read outs.

both the unit and mount are built like a tank

so far I'm impressed.

the main plan for this is to get a helmet mount light too, and do some night riding on the trails with a group riders who usually go out once or twice a week.

man the photo bucket water mark is aggravating

I keep my images ( if I'm posting one ) that I share, organized in folders on my computer and then just drag and drop them into the post I'm making ( on ECF and similar forums )... no need for a 3rd party to host them that way. Of course, I'm on a Windows computer, I'm uncertain if a Mac will allow it but I suspect it would.
