Beautiful Aggie !

Caramelized some onions, stirred in some dried chili peppers about half way through.
Added some teriyaki sauce, minced garlic and then about a half cup of sour cream.
Added about a cup of water to make it saucy.
Shredded the chicken and put it in the mixture.
Served that over the basmati.

It was good :)

After running an errand... I stopped by Raising Canes' to try out some of their chicken fingers.

I guess being about the only restaurant in the area ( without driving a couple of miles ) explains why I see lines in it's drive thru during dinner and supper time. The chicken fingers were good and tender and didn't taste bad... just nothing special. Their dipping sauce, again nothing special but it was a little different. The crinkle cut fries weren't cooked fresh nor very crunchy, which makes me suspect the chicken wasn't probably cooked fresh either but held under a heat lamp. The cole slaw was probably the worst I've ever had. I may have it again, but only if I'm hungry and too tired to fix something myself.

My Cole Slaw :

Bag of cole slaw
Can of crushed pineapple
1/2 Cup sunflower seeds
1 Cup Raisins
1 Cup dried cranberries
1/2 Cup unflavored yogurt.

mix the pineapple (with juice ) with the yogurt

In a bowl/serving dish add the slaw, raisins, cranberries and sunflower seeds.
Add pineapple/yogurt mix and stir through.

It vanishes at get-togethers :)
