Still summer here for now ! we made 92 yesterday
Good Morning Folks...
We got up to around 89° yesterday... the day before, a town in the panhandle ( of Okla ) got up to 102°... so summer is fighting tooth and nail to hang around a bit longer.... I believe they are forecasting only a 81° high temp for today.
Woke up around 5am... starting to sport a bit of a headache and getting pretty warm... I got up took an ibuprofen and checked the temps in the house... It was about 77° so I turned on the AC for an hour to bring it down to a more comfy temp.
Thinking I should try to make lemonade out of this situation ... I open up my radar program and I see a nice large smudge of what I was hoping was clouds to the east of me... Since it was early and few around here should be up, I ventured outside in just my robe to gander at the sky since it's been March since I'd gotten any early morning sky shots and those didn't have clouds in them. To my chagrin, the radar must have been showing the fog... there were very few clouds and they were west of me which won't help me get a cool looking sunrise pic. Perhaps next time... I'll go make lemonade

I had the largest headache this morning too. I rarely get them too. Not sure why. I wonder if I am starting to get my yearly cold. I get 1 big cold every year.

Got the girls new cell phones for their birthdays. We do this every year, and give them to the girls a couple months before, since the new phones come out around this time. With T-mobile, I only have to pay the taxes, or the upgrade price and taxes, if I don't want the base model. Abi, the almost 17 year old, got an iPhone 7. Cassidy, the almost 11 year old, got a new Samsung Galaxy Amp 2. She's a bit destructive with her phones, so we don't get her the higher end ones.
The Amp 2 was $100, but I got it on a Cricket promotion for $40. Unlocked it, and moved over the T-mobile SIM.
It's much nicer than her old phone, and has LTE.Giving the girls the phone tonight. Becky is getting them personal sized cakes.

Talked with one of the Dr's at work today, she gave lots of Lyme disease vaccines at other hospitals that she worked for.
She said the new Lyme vaccines are much better and they have eliminated most of the craps that gave the bad reactions.
