The snow has begun now... Currently pretty light small flakes ... 
Camera is fully charged and the mem card is empty and waiting. I'm not sure I'll get any good pics from inside the warm house or not...
This system is moving pretty quick, because of that I'm not sure it'll stick around long enough and drop a lot of snow. There are still some more moving in from New Mexico so that will likely add to what I see and perhaps it'll slow down and drop more. I won't know for certain until the morning I guess...
It looked denser over by Doozie than it does here currently... so what he reports back will be cool (

OK, so this morning when I get up, wife says "know what yesterday was?" I say "yeah, the day before today?" Then I glance at the calendar. Uh-oh. Jan 4th. Our anniversary! Now, before you toss daggers my way, we BOTH forgot it! Really. That's a first. I'm usually all over things like that. Not this time. Guess it happens.....
J just tell her you still love her and she can skip the flowers,candy and the romantic night out on the town this year

Looks like we've got 14° and a wind chill of 3° ... so a bit better than OBG
On my truck and the trash can, it looks like around 3" of snow BUT on my sidewalk and between the cars where the wind was blocked pretty good... I'm only seeing 2" of snow. The news stations are reporting that most of Norman have around 4"... so I guess the west side where I'm at must have gotten a little less. OKC just a bit north.. appears to have around 3".
Here is a neighborhood shot ... I may get out to a neighborhood a bit west of me where a nice little pond is at ( and no traffic between me and it to speak of normally ) and try to get a pic of it... maybe, no promises.

Yeah...but I was looking forward to her getting me flowers and candy.
After getting the sidewalks around the house cleared off and warmed back up in the house...
I went over to the neighborhood pond I mentioned to check things out a bit... the scene itself wasn't too impressive since very little of the snow stayed in the trees... but the ducks were cool to watch...

... and that was only a portion of what was on the pond..
As I pulled up, I noticed most of the ducks had their heads tucked in... and I was thinking about how cold it must have been... Then I really thought about it, the air temp outside was 16°, the water wasn't frozen so it had to be above 32° if not a bit warmer... I guess that was still warmer than elsewhere ( that wasn't heated )
Still, I didn't think jumping in would do me much good, so I headed back to the heated house
