Good Morning Folks...


I attempted another shot of Pleiades - aka The Seven Sisters last night after the clouds in the area here cleared off a bit late. It was another bust, or at least trying to get the faint blue/aqua nebula surrounding the stars to show up as more than just a fuzzy haze around the stars themselves. The constellation of stars come out nice, but nothing else nebulous is showing more than a hint.

If I'm not too tired tonight, I may try again but this time with my standard lens which won't be as magnified but is "faster" and may be able to show something more. Again, this one is more for the challenge than any real hope of capturing a good shot this one.

We have had rain here for a couple three days, nothing heavy at the house but of AZ got heavy rain and snow.

Oh my... just looked at the updated tornado probability from NWS for the SE...

Storm watchers ( in the plains area ) start drooling when they see a 15% chance ( the red/orange color ) on this map... since I've started watching this, I've never seen a 30% chance ( the pink )...

I won't have access to radar this afternoon at work since we're switching the hubs and servers over to a new rack server from a set of warehouse type shelving. Please keep up with the weather happening in your area if you are in any of the locations ...

I was on the patio cloud watching, they are going by so fast it make you dizzy !

I think you've got another band of storms just about to reach your area... LordDavon is probably in the middle of some also... I think the strong stuff is past Ag's for now.
