Of course vet's are better... they actually have to take the time to think about their diagnosis first...

And another thing vets around here still do house calls,just try and get a MD to do that nowadays 
While I was still in high school... I'd decided I wanted to learn to be a vet and had even taken two years of Latin to prep for it. As a summer job, I got hired as an assistant by one of the top "leg" doctors for quarter and thoroughbreds in the area. While I did assist in a surgery, autoclaved all of the instruments... I found out that assistants mostly clean stalls
I also found out this particular Dr was so up on himself... it sort of turned me off of the idea and I went in other directions after that. Instead, I should have gotten a job with the vet that later became my sisters father-in-law... He was one of the really good ones and I'd likely went on to vet school ( if I turned out to be any good at it of course, he wouldn't play favorites ).

So, I got a gift certificate to a new steakhouse at the employee Christmas party before this year's, and I finally used it tonight. First time time eating at that place, but the stuff I had was pretty good!
