If your Dad hasn't already done it... Have him go by a reputable body shop and get an estimate still, just to verify that the insurance company isn't trying to pull one over on him as many of them will do.

They gave him over double what I think the truck was worth. Looked up several of the same trucks for sale and there well under half of what he got.
And they already took the truck.
