Well, I'm hoping your take is right. But I've got a feeling you WILL get to play with your new feature...

That's might white of you to say that....

This may be one of the few times, that can't be considered a racist remark... :D

Hmm.... almost missed this one...

This is mostly for Classy and Lord Davon, may also affect Moonie.... AG will likely just see rain unless things ramp up in her area also.

Currently there appears to be a strong tornado on the west coast... it should land between Vamo and Venice and it's current course would take it to Arcadia if it makes it that far and/or doesn't turn. This will come pretty close to Vamo .

This one will go well south of Classy... but there are strong storms up the coast that may also affect her. Following that would affect the Orlando area later this evening.

FL weather update...

The tornado signature I posted about earlier has dissipated. There were a few other likely waterspouts each of which has weakened since they got over land.

The storms were originally moving NE and are moving more towards the east. This means the stronger stuff will likely go more south of LD although it'd still be a good idea to keep an eye on the weather in case it intensifies again. This also means that Moonie is more likely to see some strong storms.

Ok... all over weather update...

First for those in Florida since that's where it started this evening...

Classy should start seeing much less stuff... the stuff heavy enough to see on radar is just about to pass to her east.
LD is starting to also look pretty good. Most of the heavier storms passed to his south.
Moonie... most of the storms are still moving to your north.
Ag's... is about to get out of the rainy stuff.

ReddHott... looks like more of that white stuff is in your area. It doesn't look heavy at least.

Jmur and Yimmie ... the start of light snow is just coming into the SW corner of Connecticut. NYC is just barely getting anything at the moment. The heaviest stuff is down by DC still. The stuff that Redd has looks like it'll join up with what's coming into your area but it's hard to say when that'll happen other than tonight sometime probably.

And dang Maxie... the mid 80's at this time of night... that's just not right for March....

But ya know, I've just gotta say, even with a blizzard coming, I'd still rather deal with this than with tornadoes. Ya can't shovel a tornado...

Bad weather sucks no matter what kind it is... blizzards, hurricanes, heat waves... often cover large areas affecting a lot more people. Tornadoes are tougher to forecast accurately where they'll impact and cover smaller areas when they do strike. No matter what you have to put up with weather wise, it'll always be something.

I do enjoy watching the effects of weather... but hate what can happen to the people it impacts. It's certainly a love/hate relationship no matter when or where it happens.

Good point, well said. With my luck (or lack of) however I'm sure I'd mostly be in the smaller impact areas...

As twilight started falling... it was just slightly cloudy. So I'd hoped to play with the 'scope this evening and check if any of the aligning I did made much of a difference... Well, Mother Nature had her own idea... As I went out to check things out...

I found a Moody Moon instead... :D

I hadn't planned to take pics... but you take 'em when they're presented.

Same here. My Dad was VERY weather conscious. Contributing factor is probably that a fellow next to him in a tent was electrocuted by a lightning strike when he was in the service. But...I grew up, from before I was a teen watching the forecasts with my father. Boy, they were WAY different in the 50's:D.

Yeah! And what's up with Moonie? Been conspicuously absent lately and I'm missing his wit. Thinking of asking ECF for my money back if there's no Moon here. Get on top of this Aggie (well, not literally) and tell him we want the Moon back!
