On April 4th 1913 the universe gave us all a present named McKinley Morganfield, better known as Muddy Waters

happy birthday, rest in peace

I really can't believe you posted that! Just yesterday I was at a Goodwill store in Branford, CT and found this:

And the price was pretty sweet too: $2.99! I most likely would have paid ten times that for it...
yeah, thrift shops will often check to see what blouses, purses shirts pants & shoes are worth so hey know weather to charge 3 or 10 (or such) for but believe records all hold the same value, you can find some real gems if your lucky

Those in the SE parts ( I hope you know who you are :D ) ...

... This is suppose to be a very active weather day... storms have already fired off early in AL and GA and are suppose to happen all day in these areas ( or chances of them at least ).... The AL Governor already had a state of emergency declared for this yesterday just to prepare for anything.

Severe storms with high probabilities of tornadoes.... stay very weather aware today, it doesn't take long for these to fire up out of nothing today.

Convective storms....

Reality check on this forecast that needs to always be remembered...

I suspect that the forecasters, weather people and news agencies will likely hype the heck out of this... until things are actually happening, it's just hype at this point. Some of the models certainly support the reasoning but not all of them agree so the forecasters are erroring on the side of caution which is the wise move... but until it happens it's still only an educated guess.

Just check the weather and radar for your area often... if something happens ( and there is no guarantee that it will in your area ) you'll be prepare to take the appropriate actions. If you have plans to be out and about, also consider where you'd need to take shelter at if something does happen.

There have already been severe and tornadic storms in Alabama and Georgia ... so the threats aren't baseless either. Just don't let any potential hype freak you out... as long as you've planned for the possibility and keep up with things, you should be fine.
