Just finished replacing most of the CFL light bulbs I'd put in years ago... with LED bulbs... :)

Most of those were 100w equivalant soft white that used 23w, the two in the bathroom ( personally didn't think I needed 4 in there ) were changed to 60w equiv. that only use 9w each. Then I replaced 3 more in the living room with 100w equivalent 15w bulbs. I'd been missing one over the kitchen table and used another 60w there and a couple of the old still working 100w CFL's got moved into the main kitchen enclosed fixture ( they say the LED's don't live long if they are in enclosed spaces ). The last of of the 4 60w went into the bedroom ( I'd forgot to count it but had an extra anyway ). That left me with one more 100w ( equiv ) LED as a spare and a couple of the older 100w CFL's that hadn't gone out for when the kitchen ones finally fail.

All of the new ones are daylight instead of soft whites... so where I'd gone from the 100w equiv to the 60w equiv, it still seems as bright ( or close enough for me ). I still need to pick up a 3 way for my stand-alone floor lamp in the living room and probably a couple of others for the rooms I don't go into much... and a few more spares just in case.

Not sure how much greener I am now... but I'm brighter :D

Hello everyone, Back from Vegas, tired, broke, and glad to be home.
Let me see if I can give a condensed version of my trip.

Got felt up, not once, but twice by a TSA agent (It didn't cost anything though, I almost asked the guy in Vegas for his phone number):D:D
Lost my gambling funds by Wednesday. The class was EXTREMELY intense/hard but I got a passing grade, although once it was over, the instructor gave everyone the same certificate and stated " there is no pass or fail". (Wish he would have told us that on the first day of training).
The plane ride there was uneventful, however, the ride home was anything but. Around Dallas we hit turbulence so bad, that I was truly thinking that the plane was gonna fall from the sky. A lady in the row behind us was screaming "Lord Jesus save us" over and over. The turbulence seemed to last 20 minutes although it probably just seemed that long. I had a conversation with the lady who I was seated next to, and she said that she flies a lot, and this was by far the worst turbulence she's ever encountered. When the plane landed, everyone clapped and cheered.

I beleive I/we walked 10 miles up and down the strip several times, and I know I lost about 10 - 11 lbs (I just weighed myself)
